The next generation, I hope lol.
The sprouty is cannarado papaya milk and I’m running this one to see what she looks like and if I like it I’ll do a mini pheno hunt with 3-4 plants.

The 3 cupped pots are ethos mystery zweet regs and the hope is to be able to sex em successfully and have 1 to grow out, I think this strain is a Durban poison x gg4 type strain and I’m lowkey excited.

In the ghettodome we have 4x ice cream cake cuttings in a poor attempt to clone lol.

I actually stick cuttings straight into small pots and cover those a like you have done with your seeds. They get sprayed inside clear plastic cup/half pop bottle/dome and then dont need touching again unless one droops i then give another spray, but that doesn't happen. Just saves me my lazy ass time faffing around. I grow in coco and do cutts in coco.

The grow is looking bang on, those buds are frosting up nicely. Your smashing out the grows man.

Re: Big Things Have Small Beginnings

ive been rearranging the plants in the tents and have things switched up a bit.
i have put sns icc photo into flip down in the big tent. i also moved grape diamonds downstairs into the big tent to finish flower in there, the new flower chamber of boom.
broken moonberry pie auto will finish there under the 12/12 lighting as well, sucks to be mbp lol.
next step will be to switch out the lights in the big tent, ive got a mars fc4800 lightbar but its warped a bit lol, ill deal with that in the effort to get more delish led light into the flower chamber.

the 3x3 tent is now the veg chamber, eventual mother/clone tent i hope!

last pic here is the cannarado genetics papaya milk sprouty, shes 7 days old today.
once she hits maybe day 12 or so ill move her to her own grow journal.

thank ya kindly, i am def more pleased than displeased with the current cycle, and have high hopes for the new one!
i hope to see some of the cuttings survive but if they dont, ill just give it another whirl when i am defoling and lollipopping the next photo.
ill 'figger it out i think lol

Aw yisssss, how about an unsolicited update…
Got my lights switched out and I’m rocking the totally old and bent amazing righteous mars hydro fc4800 in an effort to fill the space with a bit more light.
I took out about 350w worth of lights and will be rocking 480w here going forward.
I have had great success in the past with the lightbar setups, my only real complaint is that running a staggered grow under one can be a challenge as sprouties will sometimes shy away from the lights up near full strength.
In a flower tent application tho I find the lightbars to be the kittys titties.

I’m high as ballz and bored so I’m gonna ramble a bit about my lights.
I never really pushed lights in my grows, would sorta eyeball everything and just hope I didn’t burn the plants up.
This year I started using recommended distances and ppfd charts in an effort to get the most bang for my buck and ive definitely noticed a positive difference in end result.
One of the hacks I use to help me set a good light distance and maintain it thru the grow is to measure out the ratchet ropes holding my light up and use them as markers for light distance.
For example dr coco recommends a distance of 13” in flower using the mars fc4800.
I set my ropes at 13” and I’ll adjust the plants to try and maximize the light they’re getting.
By Sunday I’ll have everything in its ideal zone, but the next couple days I just want to let the plants get used to the stronger light.
I got a par meter and I’ll use it to double check but once it’s set I wanna forget about it.
Seems to be working for me.
Do you all try and maximize your lights or just wing it???Image

I put sns ICC Photo into flip a couple days ago and she’s received her last veg-focused topdressing.
Going forward I’ll topdress with a flower-focused ratio of the Gaia Green trio, first flower topdress will be here in two weeks once we got some budsites popping off.

I'm planning to get a PAR meter eventually, till then I just use the PAR maps and recommended hanging heights as a guide. Through trial and error you can figure out how much a plant can take, but it seems to vary from strain to strain or phenotype etc. Personally I like to have them close as possible for maximum canopy penetration. Cheers

I have learned the value of getting as much out of our lights as possible for sure!
