@DIY.Rik so just looking into them now. Do you just use it as a top layer for the soil or do you actually mix it through? From what I've read, it's great for aeration which make me think you mix it through?
A mulch is just a top layer you gently layer over the top. It will help retain and make a home for more bacteria.

You can pre mix for more aeration too.

Hay is more just for a mulch layer.
@DIY.Rik thankyou mate, sorry havnt deep dived this far into growing so that's new to me. Will be familiarising myself with it for sure. So it'll just stay moist a couple more days longer? Many benefits to that? I'll read up on it all anyway. Thankyou
If you're using any sort of compost mix or soil, yes keeping it moist but not overwatered. If you're using readily available nutrients you should be fine.

The buck wheat hulls will leach extra silicone into your soil and the alfa will have other goodies to help too. Maybe get a mix of both? :idn:

I would still water every 3 days or whatever it was you were already doing.

If you don't like it you can try something else. Maybe just add one thing at a time if you're worried. Then you know what's worked, or not!.

I know if you're using nutrients with salt in, you can get build up and that can be a problem. I know some salt based nute users have a mid flower flush. Then another flush at the end. Even if you're in soil it may be worth thinking of this.

The soil and nutes you're using promotes using bio thrive gear for microbial inputs etc.... I would look at getting something to add more life to the soil. @GHO is more knowledgeable about his products and there is a discount code GROWROOM10 I think 🤔 or...M15 for 10 or 15 percent off.

You want some of his worm castings too mate. That's full of life!

Sup Growers.

So day 2 of flower on these beauties.
There all thriving for me.
Temp on outside has dramatically dropped so my heater is working overtime! It's managed to burn 1 leaf slightly but oh well.

My kush mints 2.. seems to be really heavy indica. Stems are fat as F. I keep trying to spread her but she's having non of it. So dam compact. I may let her stretch abit more then try again. Net will go up soon so will be able to bend her then.

Do people defoliate after stretch? These need a good one but iknow I shouldn't now they've been flipped.

Temps from 20c - 25c
Rh 60% - 65%
🤙

Hey gr420!

Soo. Day 8 of flower for these girls. Throughout the grow I've not seemed to get a sweet spot for these LED'S. That's on me though.

They seem to be doing ok. There not stretchers by any means.

There a mess under the canopy. Again, that's on me :suicide:

I think there happy and healthy though. Humidity is through the roof at the moment though. For some reason it's about 80%. Weather 🙄

Temp stays at 22/23c. All is well I think.

Back right kush mints, I'm not a fan of this pheno. She's small and stocky. Branches thicccc. She will not let me bend her! She's been like this from the start.
Shitty pictures unfortunately. They got a feed last night.
2ml bloom, 2ml ignition, 0.5ml Bio sillicon, 0.5ml magnecal.

Thanks for looking

Nets filling up there

Wouldn't stripping the leaves under the net now lower humidity from less leaf transpiration?

Possibly, I didn't know if it was too soon to touch them as iknow people tend to say wait until the 3 week points to start defol/lollipop :idn: million different opinions. I just don't want to stress them

Yeah I left if until almost midway on my net grow.

Maybe turn the lights up? That will change VPD and lower the RH?

I'm going to turn the lights up after work anyway, download about 3 different lux apps yesterday and all had the same reading at the canopy.. 17000. Ffs.

I haven't tried the one I downloaded yet Benj. I'll give it go.

What so they all said same thing whatever the level of light is at?

Maybe they maxed out?

I think you can pick them up fairly cheap.
