As long as the food is in it really does not matter Minty. Just be careful of light burn best to dim the light right down or do when lights are off do the underside of the leaves as well as the tops.

Thanks Kbag mate. That is what I did, just used the existing stuff for now and did underneath and tops. I gave some to both while I was there with lights off

You might find Minty you get a residue left on the leaves without a wetting agent it will not harm them just does not look nice. Hopefully if they absorb most of the goodness before it dries it will not happen.

I switched all the fans off as well (intake, extract and movement) for an hour after the spray but not sure if that was correct or not?

When i foliar spray i like to my plants out of the groom and let them dry in the natural light (not direct sunlight) just a gentle light with no fans on. Not possible for you minty due to your set up so id guess the way you did it was the best possible for your scenario.

I would love to read more about this mate, you should start a diary or at least post a GRoom overview. Just ordered some AutoPots (here tomorrow/today now) so will be interesting to see how it all fits together.Hydrodaily wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2020 12:34 pmI’m currently only using a Tuya based system for control of the room via temp , humidity sensors, used dosing pumps back when I was into keeping marine reef systems , and I’m currently running an Autopot system So no real scope to add this dosing system to it . Amazing how much automation you have ... I use a humidifier with nutes in the mix to automate that part ,turning off extraction for the short while it’s on for the feed
"I use a humidifier with nutes in the mix to automate that part" - Need to know more about this for sure??

I could add a small backup light for this type of scenario if you think it would be useful? Something like that 10watt phillips HUE bulb I broke the glass off and use for germination?kbag wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 12:11 amWhen i foliar spray i like to my plants out of the groom and let them dry in the natural light (not direct sunlight) just a gentle light with no fans on. What you think mate, would it be worth it? Have a new R-Strip with a 100% dimming range as a replacement germination/veg light now - just need to wire it up (and find a plug)
