What
I would run on your setup at your stage now
Light 480w
Pump 30w
Air pump 7w
Extract Fan 35w
humidifier 10w
O Fan 40w
602w
your light doesnt need to be on full wack at the start save some watts
I start the comp for IS on 24w of wall power i may be running at 50ish watts now at the wall have checked recently
One more thing i was thinking of asking you about building a drying box with auto controls to keep optimal temp and humidity..?

Re: Minty Grow Diary - GR420 LED Grow Off
I pretty much started with just that and got Root Rot. So the chiller is definitely required as I am in full Hydro. The dehumidifier is another 650 watts and that will also be needed otherwise I am going to get Bud Rot. There is not really a way to cut back on things without it leading to other issues in my opinion mate especially when in just water. Plus it is all automated so the intake air fan only kicks on every now again unless the temperature goes up, then it kicks in for cooling. I am only running a single oscillating fan and they are 20w each. The air conditioner should really help as that is only 210 watts and has a dehumidifier mode so I will hopefully only have to use the 650 watt dehumidifier in extreme conditions.MrNice wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 3:46 pmWhat

The light is dimmed but I purchased the wrong driver and it doesn't actually dim down that low. Waiting on feedback from Keeno as that new Prototype light he just got from Invisible Sun has been supplied with the same driver I use so will be interested to see how well that dims.

I wouldn`t even worry about flir Minty, i live on a big estate and cop chopper is always around the area and above the house, ive grown more or less none stop for many years and most of that was running with 2 or 3 x 600hps bulbs all at same house. Don`t sweat on it too much it will do your napper in. If you get busted i doubt it has anything to do with cop choppers and more loose lips letting other people know what your doing. :)

Yes mate, although the clamp meter is at work which is shutdown for the Covid break. But the multi meter is here (pretty much use that weekly).
Are you UK based? I'm not that worried about the FLIR mate. The Police have better things to do than look for home growers. We should off course take precautions as they 'obliged' to deal with complaints and I think I have done what I can to minimise disruption to others. It's things like the neighbours smelling it or noise etc that I have hopefully taken care off.2-Scoops wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 5:41 pmI wouldn`t even worry about flir Minty, i live on a big estate and cop chopper is always around the area and above the house, ive grown more or less none stop for many years and most of that was running with 2 or 3 x 600hps bulbs all at same house. Hey Minty have you thought about foliar feeding the one struggling whilst she is sorting root problem out. It should help her to produce healthier roots if you can get some feed in her.

Good idea. Would I just use the same water from the Res or mix up a separate solution?

Amazing setup , full of great ideas to digest .
I’m currently only using a Tuya based system for control of the room via temp , humidity sensors, used dosing pumps back when I was into keeping marine reef systems , and I’m currently running an Autopot system So no real scope to add this dosing system to it . Amazing how much automation you have ... I use a humidifier with nutes in the mix to automate that part ,turning off extraction for the short while it’s on for the feed

How you finding the AutoPots? I just ordered some as a backup / alternative to the full on recirculating.Hydrodaily wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2020 12:34 pmAmazing setup , full of great ideas to digest .
