hey 2scoops whats your thoughts on "rock phosphate"

Google search return
"Is phosphate rock dangerous?

Among the hazardous heavy metals in P fertilizers, Cd is probably the most researched element. ... This is because of its potentially high toxicity to human health from consuming foods that are derived from crops fertilized with P fertilizers containing a significant amount of Cd."

But yes so up to now out of the 3 emails i sent i got one reply back.
Fair play to them for replying. I dislike GrowShop (assuming it is OneStopGrowShop) as they constantly feck me over on delivery stating they have things in stock and then delivering half an order with the remaining items not even mentioned until you query the status at which time you are told it's on back order! So from my experience they are not very good with communication (e.g. where I get most my kit at least scribble a little note on the invoice to say it will follow) but at least they answered your email query.

To be fair to them the stock issues I experienced were just after the Covid lock downs etc so I am sure this is not the companies usual practise etc. Just put me off them personally. I like HydroHobby which have always been good for stock and always really fast delivery (although they have since upgraded the website to use SAGE and it no longer works in Chrome so that sucks).

No problem with the spam mate, but I would suggest easing up on the coloured text as not every one is using the dark theme. I made the same mistake myself mate with making pretty text colours etc until @2-Scoops correctly pointed out it's hard to read when using the white skin/theme.

Coloured text is cool bro we just need to consider the 'contrast' etc for people using the Pro Silver Light theme rather than the dark one mate is all. Red for example works in both but please don't start posting in red ;o) #AngryMelon

On the mention of Melons - Mine are 119 Days old and still doing fine in the AutoPots:-

Front ones still behind but catching up I think...

I am seriously impressed with the AutoPots so far and don't really understand the initial negative response they had when first posting about them so further feedback from the likes of @Nomoli (I think was negative to them?) and others would be valuable content?

My main negative feedback so far would be the original root control method (that sucks - and is easily fixed with socks), and the fact that they are so lazy it's borderline boring...

Tbh im not that clued but have done plenty of reading on PGR`s over years. But on heavy metals well i`m pretty sure their in everything we consume food wise and even organic food and ferts, tis pretty much impossible for them not to be. Hence why flushing plants through properly come end of a grow is another very important part of growing, to me green plants will have alot more heavy metals in than proper flushed out yellow plants, it just seems obvious, but so long as its just trace ellemernts left behind i here or read its not so harmful to us.

Same applies to pesticides and poisens and lots of things used in or on any plant that`s for human consumption i`m pretty sure theirs always gonna be traces left behind which are harmful in larger doses but are said pretty much harmless in traces, which will always be left behind in plants, prolly why it`s said they are harmless in traces cus what the fuck do you do otherwise, starve  .

The phospghates it`s not really a problem in my world so long as you just flush plants out properly. Kinda makes me chuckle when i read someone is growing organic saying "its all good no need to flush cus im growing organically" or if they`re growing hydro in water style "i only need to put them on water a few days" its a right load of bollox. Nowt but water for 2 to 3 weeks before chopping, depending how you do it. So plants look like shit. All that said i must admit ive croppped plenty of green plants when they`ve needed to come down in past fast, but 9/10 i do it as it should be done. Don`t quote me on any of that it`s just stuff that`s popped in my head :oik!: 8-)

Yea, it is what it is mate. I have nothing to replace her with so she may as well see it out. To be fair she is catching up but I would say about a week behind the 'main' one. They both smell awesome and are sticky as so just going to let them continue as is. It's not like they are loads of work or anything ;o)

Current stats are as follows (temps are still high due to both the de-humidifier and having the lights overclocked to 480 watts.

Couple of picture updates as was up there anyway - decided to dim the lights back down to keep the temps below 30.

The lighter one in front is definitely trying @2-Scoops and looking way better than my last Hydro grow so not sure about pheno etc. but she is still a pretty plant ;o)
