Re: Another Pink Kush
Troops iv a wee question if yous dont mind iv been thinking about this quite a bit after one of the girls hermied which I am near sure it's been from stress and shock feeding at too low a temperature ( but cant be 100% sure ) plus maybe too much light and a little bit too high a temperature
So I was wondering can a girl start to hermie and then go back to normal again if that makes sense. I read that a plant would hermie if it thought it would not last to be pollinated by an outside source (a male plant) so it starts to hermie and produce nanas and shit so it can pollinate itself. Iv turned off the extra hps and the temp is now at 26.6 and the feed is now at room temperature at around 22 degrees. Iv searched and hunted for hours and iv only found the 3 nanas and they haven't grown at all in the past 3 days or so since I discovered them and thank fuck theres none on the other 3. And the plant seems to be growing and swelling as normal again. Could she have went back to thinking she will survive and doesn't need to be self pollinated, if that makes sense from my old stoned head lol

Or is that her hermied and theres no return?

Re: Another Pink Kush
youve kinda got alot of possible answers when it comes to hermies dude
so if you get propa pollen sacks as well as female flowers typically "I" would call that a true hermie. BUUUUUUUT sometimes that hermie trait is only brought out by specific conditions IE light or heat stress. then we have nanas which plants tend to produce if you push them a long way in age or stress them like you mentioned... both scenarios offer a chance of regaining control of a hermie issue if you can work out the source
side note. if there is hermie trait in the genes its not going to be something you want to keep to breed from really, in essence its failed a stress test

Re: Another Pink Kush
Cheers for the great info GMO. Hopefully I've stopped it before it got a chance to get started. Theres no pollen sacks just the 3 nanas I have found and they haven't changed size or anything in 3 days. However the buds are still growing and swelling up and forming nicely. Fingers crossed pal lol they are so close to the end. Another 3 maybe 4 days feed then 10 days flush
