Unexpected auto first grow

Post by Point 5 »

So after years of saying we should grow..... we finally are!!!
The plan was to grow royal seeds critical (feminized) so thsts what we ordered the critical feminized starter kit. The parcel finally arrived. I opened it to find they had sent the white widow auto starter kit.
On this note I cant fault royal seeds they responded very quickly and sorted the issue and sent out another pack with the critical seeds in. Top customer service!!!
Anyway....

We had seeds to grow so we started the white widow auto grow as our first venture into home growing!

Tent: 75x75x160
Light: LED spiderfarm 450w dimmable
Fan and carbon filter
Little clip desk fan
Humidifier
Coco
Shogun nutes

I cant for life of me figure how to put pics on a post so have a look at my album on profile .

The start...

Used instructions on the box of the starter kit and I must have done something wrong as only 1 seed grew. Looking back I know my mistake. We dont need to talk about it anymore lol.

Transferred to coco in tent and feeding as per shogun nutes feed chart for hard water.

Some leaves turned yellow so added a bit of nitrogen and that sorted the problem.

Lst started. Love this it's quite therapeutic. Not topped it with being an auto.

Temps are stable at 26c. RH is round 45 to 50%

So far we are week 4 of veg stage and seems to my untrained eye to be going alright.

If any one can offer advice on what they see please come forward. I'm learning so much as I go.

It looks like you dine your homework befirecstartingbso fair play to you for that. You got a nice set up. I've not worked with shogun nutes myself.

As for images, you go to your album, there is a "upload image" button, click that and it will bring up your images on phone/computer. On phone you van upload multiple by holding down on a image, then selecting more. Once uploaded on the post box in the topic you wish to post images there is a "gallery image button", click that and your images will pop up. Select the image you want to display, the link will appear in the post. When you post it will display.

In your user control panel, click your name top right, you can create sub albums and other settings.

I look forward to following.

Sitting in shed mixed my nutes and have readings but no idea what I'm looking for on my new EC meter.

Water on it's own was ph 7.2 and ec .354
After adding nutes ph 7.6 and ec 1.354

Normally I would add some ph down to bring it to 5.8ish.

Any help would be appreciated
