Update - Week 3 flower

Wassup GR420. I'm now at week 3 on these. I'm sticking to my back to basics approach. I stuck with the canna PK 13/14 for 3 weeks instead of my normal 2 and will now use only Canna coco A and B till mid flower flush. I'll be knocking up a new batch of feed today and upping my feed to 1.25ml canna a and b and dropping what was 0.4ml oer litre of pk13/14. Temps have been set to 20c, anymore than that and it's just madness with electric costs.

Finally listened K, back to basics. I did run the pk 13/14 for 3 weeks instead of 2 to really load em up, progressing from 0.25ml per liter to 0.4ml per liter. Im now on onlt 1.25mk a and b and watching closely. i have a feeling ill be running ao again so i am trying to see what she can take while not pushing to hard.

Update - Week 3 Flower

I think the extra week of Canna PK 13/14 has put a rocket up their bums as they are really pushing flower now. Lots of tops in there but i checked this morning and i was at 90% rh . That many tops close together and high rh is a recipe for disaster. Ive had to fire up my dehumidifier, the bastard runs at 600w so im dreading my leccy bill. Maybe the heat from the dehumidifier will stop the heaters firing up so much...

I dropped the Canna PK 13/14 and now have them on 1.25ml Canna Coco A and B. PH im setting to 6.0 ans allowing to drift to 6.2 over 4 days. Temps are set to 20c, you would not believe the cost of keeping 2 tents at 20c, my issue is i need to extract air from the out building itself. Im dragging a 6 inch a1 worth of air out of my outbuilding, the same out building im trying to heat, without doing so humidity is insane, if it was easy it wouldn't be fun. You watch the news the next week or 2, the amount of heated air im pushing out of that building they will think global warming is coming from the south coast

Quick update on adding the dehumidifier. I was struggling cost wise to keep the temps at 20c with my heater, on half power its 800-1000w. i added the dehumidifier and the heat thats putting out has upped temps to 24c and dropped rh. So this may actually be cheaper to run.

Update - Week 4

Since adding the dehumidifier my heaters have barely fired up. Amazing the heat it puts out. It runs at 500w which is much better than 2kw of heating 24/7 and its keeping my humidity below 50%, win win.

These are now week 4and still stretching. I've found that the more uniform light from the parabolic has kept the canopy much more even. So I'll be looking at less big buds than last run but much more of em. Temps have been 25c lights off using the dehumidifier, as high as 30c lights on but temps will drop soon so it should be spot on.

Feed is at 1.25ml per litre Canna Coco A and B. I gave into temptation . I had 1 litervof Rock's resinator so that's gone in at 0.5ml per liter. Ph is set to 6.1.

Mid flower flush is next week. Nearly across the danger point. I whacked the lights up to 660w today.

Not much more to report. They are very frosty and the smell is insane.

I actually run Canna Pk13/14 longer than normal. Week 1 0.25ml per liter, then moved up to 0.4ml up to day 21. I normally use it for 2 weeks only at 0.25ml per liter and I'd say it's got them to full flower faster.

I will now go against what I said and use what's left of the rocks resinator till its run out.

Loving it so far K looks to be spot on for 4 weeks. My only concern is why change what is working for you atm (PK13/14) of course you have to be careful with it but imo certainly works for little outlay. I hope and fingers crossed for you that the high R/H early in flower as not allowed the mold spores to take hold in them stems. I have said this previously a lot of people think that a high R/H late in flower is the cause of mold. This is not the case mold hooks in weeks before your ever physically see it.

Update - Week 5

Not much to report on these, I love this part of the grow, sit back and watch. I put 2 support nets in and banged the the ballast up to 660w each. The smell on these is unreal and they are sticker than the last run. The longer veg has given me more tops than last run. I think the more even light spread from the parabolic shades has taned them from the insane stretch i experienced last run but they are still stretching.

Tomorrow is mid flower flush.....oh the fun lol.

I'm praying for the mould to stay away, that dehumidifier is a beast but as you say early on it was high . The change was because it was laying around. Once it's gone it will be pk 13/14for me from now on. I'm gonna hit em with the 13/14 after the mid flower flush for a week to keep on pushing. I'm running her again so I'm pushing a bit but I want to truly tame this strain as my days of big grows will soon we at a end .
