Exactly, so you have a nice solid root ball thats "drinking as much as it can". so you basically filling the genetics (phenotype) potential of the genetics your working with.... sometimes not ideal and a controlled feeding regime can help control "excessive" growth"

I certainly find feed/water volumes during stretch affect how much they do.
