I think that would be a good idea Wiz. try not to get to close to the nodes if possible i see on some it will not possible but like to leave about cm or 2 above the nodes. It helps to stop them breaking later on when training.

ok tops have been cleaned up , also i turned the light up to 600w tonight at light on , and the temps staying at 26 so far been on for 3 1/2 hrs so looking good

so light has been on all night and temps stayed at 27 with light on 600w ,,,

so this tells me a few things , at first i was venting into room so i kept sucking hot air back in tent ,, having a extra exaust fan really really helps and installing vent hose to run outa room where tent is

If the temps do get a little high you can always drop it back on the ballast for few days until ambient temps get cooler.

oh for sure i well , ive been checking every once and a while to make sure it stays stable also
only 17c today

went and mixed up feed
went to 415 with a mix rate of

.75ml perlitre of base
.5ml of silicone per litre
.5ml of ph down per 10litres of water

ph 5.84

lights came at 8 , watered at 815

bushing out nice

feed increased to 415ppm ph 5.8
base nutes at .75per litre
silicone .5ml per litre
