Miss USA by DNA genetics in a Scrog by oly420.

Post by ohlordyeah_420 »

I've always wanted to do a Scrog so here it goes...

I've germinated 4 miss USA seeds and after a few mishaps I have 4 healthy looks seedlings at various stages of life from 1-3 weeks above soil.

They've been potted up to 11 litres of my soil mix (canna coco, organic compost, Perlite, plus some amendments) in smart pots.

At the moment they are sat in a 60cmx 60cmx 120cm tent under an invisible light board on 18/6.

They will be fed bio bizz fish mix in grow and a mix of bio bizz Bloom and bio canna flores in flower. I also use the following:

Plagron green sensation
Real growers recharge
Plant magic Cal mag (foliar)
Raw soluble silica (foliar and in solution; it has a neutral pH)

I will also be giving them some grow/bloom compost teas which I brew for 48 hours.
The only thing I've left out is my homemade vermicastings which I use in compost teas and as a top dressing.

Their final pots will be 25 litre smart pots which have all ready been filled with the soil for flowering and they're cooking all ready for potting up in 4-6 weeks.

Strain info boi!
Miss USA:
Kosher Kush x Strawberry Banana
Flowering Time: 9 weeks
Indica: 60% | Sativa: 40%
Yield: 450-500 g/m2
Height: Medium

The two world’s most cup winning strains Kosher Kush and Strawberry Banana team together to create the legend that is DNA Genetics MISS U.S.A. These strains has been causing a storm over in California for its good yields, great aroma and awesome returns for concentrates. MISS USA is a great variety for first time growers as well as experienced connoisseurs. Producing light green and heavily coated buds with heavy formations of crystals that await you.

The eldest hit dirt march 13th. The others are a few days to a week or so behind. They had their first feed tonight of weak fish mix plus some recharge.

From you guys those kind words mean an awful lot, thank you.
Just trying to grow a menu of flavours for me to be able to pick from when the mood suits.

I also learn a hell of a lot just reading everything here from what happens in the chat to the threads. I learn an awful lot about how you guys grow plants and I love to pick and choose what works for me. Love this place.

Here's how the training for the scrog is going. They've had some compost tea over the last few days. Gone a bit greener.

The left stem snapped on this but not all the way through. I've held it in place and I think it's fusing back together.

This one is a few (2) weeks behind the eldest:

Cheers bud, this is grow number 4 for me so it's still all still new. Got the invisible sun dialled in now so those teething problems are over. Got to keep these low and slow in their little tent until the big one is free (2-3 weeks). No more multi strain grows for me for a little while.
