I only foliar feed calmag due to it not being organic. Epsom salts doesn't contain Ca, but do have some somewhere.
Epsom Salts doesn't contain Calcium but helps calcium uptake and I do believe there is enough calcium in the tap water itself mate.
Keep an eye on the plants and consider my advice for the feed when you're next due feeding.
The water here has quite a bit of Ca and Mg but IIRC the molecules are too large for plants and take time to do their work. I have heard before about adding ES to cal-mag and helping the uptake. I think I did it last year on the tomatoes, but my memory is rusty on that.

The thing is with soil is that it takes time to see changes. It can take a week or more at times. Far slower than hydro.
Never give advice. Wise men don't need advice. Fools won't take it.

Sorry to say mate, but they showing all the signs of light stress again buddy

i really dont think they managed to recover fully tbh pal

i really dunt think there is too much more that can be dont to bring these round besides reducing the light and letting the ride it out to finish.

i hope ya dont take this as the effects of QB, its the combo of learning new lights and auto's not having the time to recover. we will get to the end pal but mite be worth assuming the worst and starting to plan the next pal

Hi mate,

I don't know what's causing it. It's getting me down for sure. I need to get a crop, let alone a crop that will see me through to the next one. God knows what I'm going to do if I don't have a smoke.

Looks to me like possible nute lockout due to a ph issue or perhaps too much of something else, like calcium or magmesium. I was growing in soil last round and got nute lockout because I was adding full strength cal mag to my tap water, very unnecessary lol. Plus in soil it seemed to accumulate and hit all at once.
Also maybe salt buildup in the medium if the pots are sitting in the runoff water.

It doesn't look quite like light burn to me because your top growth doesn't look to be worse than the lower shoots. I'm getting light burn right now on my dwc grow and the leaves up top look the opposite of you, slightly curled upward and much worse off than the stuff further from the light

Hi mate,

I've not fed her any cal-mag for a while. Two of the pots had dolomite in them, one (pretty sure) didn't.
I never feed calmag to the roots, only via foliar (and rarely do that because of the dolomite) but this grow has got the better of me.

They don't sit in any run off as that goes down the sink when I take them downstairs to water.

Found this on a forum discussing organic growing

A few different sites say tge same thing, too much lime= fucked

Trying to find some info on how to help neutralise the lime in case that's the issue, because I know flushing won't help for amended soils

Not sure about the whole adjusting ph thing in soil, I don't do it anymore personally. But the rest seems to make since and might explain your issues
