Re: First proper coco run with Don Bullioni in the driving seat!

Good morning mate.. I assume you given them what you had left last night and mixing a new batch today?
We will lower the EC a bit now for few days and go from there. Aim for final EC 1.1
1 ml silicon per L
2 ml Rhizo
And I think about 0.5 ml of each A &B should give you that.
Get you pH to 5.8 for today and then Tuesday 5.6 and Wednesday 5.7.

I use the Botanicare calmag plus really does a good job when needed K. Has a ratio of 2.0.0 so gives a little extra N plus the calcium ,magnesium and iron.
Very handy if your ph goes a little wayward in the coco and you start to get mag def that can happen in coco, gives you time to get the balance back with out affecting plants to much. You can also use it as a precaution foliar feed as the plants can often become more hungry for calcium magnesium at different time's during there life cycle. Got to be careful not over do it as well so no more than 2 folair feeds in one week.
Epsom salts is great stuff and cheap to buy but on occasions you just need that little extra.
Ill look this stuff up mate thank you. Its a real shame about the plant magic stuff not working as it once did. Ive used it for years, i think that may have had something to do with the other grow going tits up.

Very lively grow! Lots of action in the room. How do you find the air pots?
Morning Island. The airpots are on ebay in UK, im not sure about over there. I love them mate, they do a much better job than standard pots. Ive been in soil for a long time using airpots, ive found them very useful for soil especially under LED as you are, they aid in the drying out of the soil especially early when roots are still filling the pot. If you havent used them you should try get your hands on some.

Update

Afternnon GR420, the epsom salts seems to have done the trick. They are recovering from the beating too. 1 plant is still in re-veg so a little behind, ill continue to shape as they grow. Ive followed Bulls feed, 1.1 ec 5.8 ph 2 nights ago, 1.1 ec 5.7 ph last night, should be going 5.6ph tonight with 1.1ec but ill wait for Bulls to see pics first. Im enjoying this run so far, still messing with ph each night but ill get that soon enough.

Have you had any success with coco without adding any perlite?

Been reading its very possible to do and some recommend it. Asking because I have no perlite and will be starting my 1st COCO grow in the next few days with an autoflower.

Your grow is looking very very good. Wish those pots were not as expensive over here or I would be using them. Seeing all your growth makes me all excited haha

I always run without it your be fine mate, only use it in soil as it holds moisture, no need for coco where you water every day ;).
