looking sweet bach.....jest keep an eye on them leaf blade edges !!!sir-scrogalot wrote: ↑Wed Nov 21, 2018 5:18 pmOK so a bit of an update.
I noticed around day 14 that there were a couple of blacked /singed hairs so I dimmed slightly down to 228w and they seemed to recover pretty quickly, you will notice in the close up pic. Today is day 17 after flip. I noticed trich production started yesterday (day 16 from flip) apart from that no real difference, couple of bits stretching others balancing out so all looking good. I measured from the ground to the light 95cm haha so anyone thinking of micro growing with these can certainly do it. Im 17 inches from net but 13 inches from top of canopy .

Re: Sir Scrogalots screen of green
hi bulls,
thanks for stopping by.
so 23 days since flip, the strain is 8-9 weeks but with the far red initiator the plants seem to finish around 8, if that hold around 5 weeks, if not 6 id say.

Re: Sir Scrogalots screen of green
Is the red initiator making the plants mature quicker and if yes how this affects the bulking up of the plants as most strain bulk up a lot and put weight on last two weeks?

Re: Sir Scrogalots screen of green
the red initiator puts the plants to sleep up to 3 hours quicker than without, this leads to 3 hours of extra growth a night, the plants are supposed to stretch less, flower quicker and give more yield. From experience, stretch and quicker bud development without doubt, do they finish quicker, they seem too, but..... I sometimes convince myself they are done when maybe they need another week so the jury is still out on that one haha. Yield hmm I don't know.
