The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

Re: Josh's Dwc
thanks bud, gave her a small defoliation so not quite as fluffy anymore. You're right about that though, seemed like the first couple weeks weren't much faster than soil but she's growing like crazy nowSent from my LGMP260 using TapatalkNanook of the north wrote:They look like my hair in the morning hahaha

Re: Josh's Dwc
Day 1 flower
Put in the hps, set full blast at 600 watts and set my timer to 12/12 last night. Excited to see how these buds fill in compared to soil.
For 40 days of veg this is amazing compared to what I'm used to. Took about 2 months to get my last single plant grow this big.
Did my usual pre-flower defoliation. I like to do it mainly so I can see what the hell is going on, increased air flow through the canopy is nice too. Tucked the taller shoots one last time and tied down some of the outside ones with more pipe cleaners.
This is why I love scrog'ing so much, it's absolutely incredible what plants (not only cannabis) can endure and continue to thrive.
Continuing with the veg nutes until the stretch is over.
EC 1.1
Ph 5.8 and holding
Until next time

Re: Josh's Dwc
Day 5 of flower
Quick update for you guys. Did a rez change tonight and decided to switch to the ionic bloom. The main reason is because I'm nearly out of grow, lol. Wasn't sure if mixing grow and bloom was a good idea so went with bloom.
I know that the first couple weeks after switch the plant still needs a good amount of nitrogen because there is a lot of growth going on, but the npk of the bloom is 3-2-6, plus my cal-mag has a bit of nitrogen in it also so I think it will be enough hopefully.
Here's my mix in case anyone was wondering.
In 68 liters of tap water I add 34 ml cal-mag
36 ml silicate
180 ml humic acid
At this point the EC is .6 so I added bloom until 1.1 EC
20 ml orca sprayed on roots and 8 oz of recharge tea applied to base of plant, as usual
Set ph to 6.0, ionic calls for 5.8-6.2 so I figured I'd stay in the middle. For you experienced dwc growers please let me know if I should set it lower
The lighting is terrible in my room so ignore the 1st pic, took an up close one so you guys can see the leaf color. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks for looking everyone
Until next time
