Hi bulls. Happy and healthy as always dude.
I realise you don't often work with autos, but would you say that these lights have kept your nodes tighter?
Even at a much greater light height, I just don't get any real light stretch from young plants, just be interesting to hear your view mate

I can't really comment on that as this is the first time I am growing the strain and pretty much using the light but I can definitely say that the nodes are really tight and as a result should end up with short bushy plants.

Just quick photo to see how they doing.
Captain I always seem to get algae with coco when growing from seed. Think reason is not too much water. Obviously coco needs to be wet all the time. Reason is direct light hitting the coco. Once plants are big enough problem is solved with algae

I am going to start paying some more attention to these now some bits are out of the way. I've added calmag to the feed today at 0.5 ml per L
Wondered if to remove some fan leaves but Viz said don't do it on autos so i won't.

Growing well, very tight nodes, side branches taking off now, trying to tuck the big fan leaves and expose lower growth where possible.
pH 5.8 EC 1.2
0.5ml per L CalMag
1 ml per L Silicone
about 0.75 ml per L Canna A&B.

Thought I'd do some LST to one of the girls see how it goes keeping an auto flat

If you were to compare the development to a photo plant at this stage and then compare the growth in say one weeks time between the two, the Auto will be miles ahead. So please do leave alone for now.
Obviously it is your plant so do what you will to it, but I strongly urge you to only start clearing older fan leaves once the plant is more mature and has put bud sites out. Then if there are fan leaves blocking off light access to key bud sites you clean them up.
Thank you for the tip top advice mate. I know they boost off all of a sudden. I've not grown many but a few, and always been amazed. I am planning of running at least couple of autos constantly now so I hope to get to know them better :)
I've listened to your advice and just tucked the leaves which were annoying me. These set of leaves that annoy me I usually remove in a photoperiod plant. Not seen them being stressed after that but with autos might be a completely different game.
The taller girl that stretched slighty more than the other one allowed me to bend her over and tie her down. I think she's enjoying it now.
