Re: Project Blu 2025
That sound like an exciting project! Some of those strains sound fire, particularly the Peach Sake— This one’s got me wondering how that one will come out. Btw, also liked the setup with the new propagator, here you have an LED built in, cool thing, I bet. Break a leg for dealing with the males and the arrangements towards new year grow. Keep us updated—can’t wait to see how those Blu Candis turn out!

Re: Project Blu 2025
Yeah I've already harvested some peach sake from the test cuts, it's very good both phenos were excellent quality. Number 3 is the best one, they smoke similar but this one has the most impressive frost production. Got a decent yield for smaller plants so I think it's definitely worth keeping, that pheno was quite leafy compared to the other one so it's not as easy to trim but the final product has very nice bag appeal, looks like high grade budcraigMckenley wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2024 8:47 pmThat sound like an exciting project! Re: Project Blu 2025
@duke Definitely have some females but I'm pretty sure there is at least one male here still. I'm not gonna be able to start on January 1st so I'm already behind schedule, but it's ok. Got roots on the other blue candi but when I transplanted the cut it came off! I think the plug had become saturated and rotted the stem
Not sure whats gonna happen with that plant now but I will probably try again I guess. Cheers

Re: Project Blu 2025
All the remaining plants seem to be female so I've taken cuts from all of them! Don't want to kill off any more potential mothers until I have smoked the final product but I'm not sure how long I can keep all these healthy and also I'm worried about space

But anyway this should be the final plant count:
6x Peach Sake #3
2x Project Blu Candi #2
2x Project Blu Candi #3
2x One Hitter Quitter #1
4x One Hitter Quitter #4
2x One Hitter Quitter #5
I've taken extra from ohq#4 because this is my favourite pheno based on smell and structure of the test cuttings, I'm hoping it's the same one that I found before (all 3 phenos seem to be different). I've kept the test cuttings on 12/12 and hopefully I will be able to finish these and get a little sample of what to expect, and also make sure there are no hermies or other issues. Need to get new tent set up and ready for when these are rooted in a couple of weeks.
Cheers
  And happy new year all

Re: Project Blu 2025
I've been a little bit behind with getting this started but it's all finally set up and plants have been moved in. I'm really happy with this new tent and glad to be back with cuttings, they were a bit stressed but should be healthy soon. I've just got them in 1/2 litre pots for now and I'll put them into 7l fabric pots in 1-2 weeks, depends how fast they are really. One of the ohq#4 didn't have roots and one of the ohq#1 got dried out so I've left those in the propagator, I'm gonna plant a Barney's Watermelon Zkittlez and probably something else in their place but I need a couple more pots as I've run out of spares. Ok thats it
 Cheers all
