Check these ladies out! They are really filling out now!
They're doing okay. I have a few issues, mainly a potassium deficiency. They have been on 2ml a&b for the last week but im going to bump that to 2.5 maybe 3 later. Hoping that'll sort the def out. Cant wait for this run to be over so i can get back to photoperiod plants and actually get to grips with coco and the autopot system.
Looks like you have the same issue as me bro. I'm sure they drink more in autopots. I'm on 4ml/l right now! Thinking of taking it to 4.5ml/l as they still look hungry. Unless we are missing something lol.
What's your base ec?

Haven't measured ec at all to be honest @wutang that could be my problem but i have seen many that dont bother with ec and do well. I think my biggest issue was not enough food at the right stages (being new to coco) and not enough cal-mag. I loaded up while vegging with epsom salt sprays but probably should've added a drop of cal-mag to the res every once in a while.

Looking nice in here buddy I was playing with the idea of autopots for this grow but looking at my plants now I’m glad I didn’t as I’d have to start chopping tops off lol
I got them because im never here and wanted something i can 'set and forget' so to speak. I should've paid more attention.
Next run off photoperiod plants should be a lot better.

I’m thinking autopots because it would save me carrying buckets of water round each day with my messed up back so I might just push the boat out next run

I wanted the same. Something where I didn't have to water daily..and apart from my niggles it's been fab. My niggles being that they looked underfed. This run I've upped the ferts and they're loving it. Need to do some more searching but I'm thinking autopots need more ferts.

we've not gone over 3ml pl yet. i feel like they are drinking about the same, but its hard to judge as with hand feeding youve got all that run off that you would need to subtract i guess.

Mine also looked constantly under fed for a while @wutang but i just put that down to my habbit of under feeding lol. These being autos (im still a rookie at autos) and my first attempt at coco and autopots, it's been a bit of a rushed pace. I cant wait to get some photos in them.
I simply dont have a clue what im doing @Hmr81
Story of my life, that.

You're like me. I have underfed especially in earlier stages with th3 fear or burning them. I guess after a few runs more we will become more seasoned and be able to gauge better.

You're with shogun as well right? Vs canna coco I think they're a bit more diluted..and you're still getting good results at 3ml/l? You in hardwater area? What's your base ec?
I've recently dived into Coco while playing with fertigation recipes. I've found that Coco actually responds better if you keep the K:Ca ratio to around 1:1. If comparing to my hydroponics ratios that's slightly lower K and higher Ca. This is due to the high CEC of the coir as well as Coco releases K as it decomposes. Same for Mg, within hydroponics, 30mg/L of Mg in solution is plenty to keep most cultivars happy but, I did the same in Coco and the plants were showing signs of Mg deficiency. This was more pronounced when using LEDs over HID lighting for some reason. Increasing to ~50mg/L seemed to solve the issue.
I'm short, Coco releases K and holds onto divalent ions like Ca, Mg, Fe and other microelents. It's very rare to see K deficiencies in Coco. IMHO, many people have issues with Coco when they try to run things like other methods. Coco I'm fact needs a much higher EC than other methods to compensate for the properties above. If using an off-the-shelf two-part like canna, the EC you should be aiming for is ~1.8-2.3EC to avoid issues when using LEDs or other VHO lighting and conditions are optimal. This can be lowered if using HID lighting or the temperature is on the warm side.
