So been well on edge with the night temps dropping to 4°c the last few nights but they still seem happy and although slowly growing they are still growing in the right direction.

So far so good ...

I'm still keeping them warm under there btls for the moment as night temps still a bit low.

Btls will have to be removed soon as not much gap between them and the leaves left but what would ppl suggest in terms of keeping them protected from being eaten or is it just a case of hoping they dont?

I'm going to put a ring of de around them but I expect it would get damp very quick n be of no use ImageImage

Controversially, we use good old fashioned slug pellets to stop them being munched. Shame I didn't put any down in my greenhouse, as they've nibbled on my Zinnia seedlings. 🤦

Making plans with a stoner is like being with a prostitute. They tell you they’re coming, but you know it’s a lie.

A good soil drench of neem should kill any soil or medium based bugs and a spray once weekly or 2 weekly as a preventative whilst plants in veg with neem should deter bugs. When they start to flower drop it the plant should be protected for a few weeks in flower by then as it should take on some systemic properties of the neem oil.

Sicilic acid or any silicon product for that matter added to your fert regime and fed through roots should also help deter bugs as well as helping increase photosynthesis and yields out in sun. I use Solar Green Power >> Buddhas Tree >> sicilic acid but sumink like Growth Technology silicon will also do you a jobby on plants, i use right up till i put them on water only for a few weeks at end.

So they seem to be growing even if it does feel alot slower progress than if they was in my tent.

A little slug got under the btl dome ( didnt think they burrowed)

Crushed egg shell and used coffee grounds being sprinkled around the plants to form a barrier and will be putting a beer trap just away from them but close enough to hopefully attract them away ImageImage

If you have a tray large enough fill it with water and put your pots on stones or bricks whatever you have and the slugs can't get to your pots, sort of like a moat lol just make sure the pots are out of the water and check underneath the pots to make sure nothing is hiding under there already, good luck mate
