So sorry to hear about Mr fugly there's nothing I can say. I hope you start feeling better soon mate we have been ill too the last week or so it's not fun is it. Fingers crossed for you today mateduke wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2024 7:42 pmclose; how about no fecking holes!worst thing is i did 2 substandard grows in it before i finally noticed!but took the drill to it for the next run and maybe do better,it showed the difference they make though as they was potbound to hell come choptime.
well i now have 2 empty drobes but am too sick to do feck all of any use as im tired and breathless in 5 minutes.
the tiny veg cab has a single barneys farm vanilla kush a single barneys farm critical kush and 2 blue venom so im quitting trying to germ any other seeds either they was duds when delivered or i fucked them up some how idk.
even the last seeds to hit my doormat seedstockers santa marta haze from the pointstore not one of the 3 germed, temps are ok rh a little low but high enough and i even used new coco so i give up and will just do single plant scrogs next run.
on the happier side the smaller drobe is full of drying weed the blue venom and grape ape x ghostrain haze both did pretty well the ace seed bangi haze was a waste of space and what little there was smelled so fecking horrid the lot has gone in the oil pot, made me feel physically sick trimming it so never again!
i have been ill and bedbound for the last week never felt so shit with banging headaches and copd making breathing very difficult so not even had energy to clean the empty drobes or even dispose of the evidence so no pics yet but will try this week.
tomorrow i am dreading i have to take my beloved ancient mr fugly pooch to vets and have the worst feeling he will not be coming home with me and i do not know how the fuck i will cope without my best friend and been the best dog ever for 14 years,my heart is breaking.

Re: dukes drobes
hi all well im still alive and some of the plants are sort of ok,some not so well it seems using nutrient that has been frozen really fucks it up! i put my glasses on and saw the A part of the nutrient (dutch pro grow for hardwater) so chemical nutes has gone green! i guess its now given the plants fed with it some kind of plant food poisoning which is why a couple look horrid, its been a week since i replaced the fucked nutes and 3 out of the 4 have recovered the new growth but the one obvious sicky is not happy!
i took a few pics but there not greatly interesting yet.
only just got the last harvest in jars or oiled burping jars atm and my bedroom smells bloody amazing like a good coffee shop about 6 different strains all exuding odour and mixing together is quite a lot nicer than mr fugly farts!
pics cheers for looking in,peace all.

Re: dukes drobes
I think it's possible the same thing has happened to me, my grow hasn't been perfect but I thought they would look a little happier, a couple of plants just seem pissed off for some reason. I had my nutes out in the garage, normally I would bring them indoors before it gets really cold but I left them till december which was a bit too long
there's no discolouration or weird smell but I thought maybe it wasn't mixing into the water as good, I'm using a new bucket to mix the feed in so I'm not sure. I don't think they were frozen solid but it can't have done them any good, I'll make sure this won't happen again tho. My 5 litre bottles were indoors thankfully so it was just a half litre of grow feed that was affected but I had my box full of stuff out there, including root stim bloom stim formulex pH down etc and it would cost like £100 to replace them all
I'm gonna give them a week in flower to see if they improve and if not then I'll try some fresh feed, cheers

Re: dukes drobes

hi bud it seems the freezing buggers up ph makes it more acidic and even after phing it refuses to stay stable ph,expensive mistake!good luck.biosynthetic wrote: ↑Fri Feb 02, 2024 2:22 amI think it's possible the same thing has happened to me, my grow hasn't been perfect but I thought they would look a little happier, a couple of plants just seem pissed off for some reason. right well some time later,no idea how long these been vegging seems ages! none have even been topped once yet odd as normally by now they would have been topped several times but due to my screw up and recovery time its not happened so im now waiting for them to have a good bunch of cloneable stems and will clone them and then be a few weeks under the net as it will likely be single plant per drobe and all scrogged so long veg needed, its boring as hell nothing flowering!
so heres a few pics taken tonight by mr shakey himself!
thanks for looking in,peace all.

Re: dukes drobes
hi all well another week of vegging and a few dozen manky leaves and low stems have been removed and new growth has mostly turned around and green so this week will be cloning time,i require only a few for the next run and have promised some to a good cause for a friend in need,i hate having lots of clones it worries the heck out of me so those will be priority and mine will be clones of those clones
thats because veg cab is so small.
anyhow pics are labeled for clarity and save me typing more nonsense!cheers all for looking in,peace.

cheers all.

Re: dukes drobes
Looking good as always mate , love how quick they grow once they get a few sets of proper leaf
I should really start growing some photo plants and doing cuts , but I just like the flexibility being able to keep lights on constant light cycle and be able to put some more seeds in and not have to fuss with lights

Re: dukes drobes
hi paul they growing good since i got the new not previously frozen nutrient into them! yes i love clones and hate the tedious seed bit so much i dread it when i have to use seeds now i killed too many and its a good job i have a few spares handy.Paul_led wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 8:52 pmLooking good as always mate , love how quick they grow once they get a few sets of proper leaf

i took half a dozen cuts of the barneys farm critical kush tonight and will do a few of there vanilla kush along with a few of the g13 labs blue venom as i like the strains growth pattern and it looks like a possible good candidate for a scrog plant and i tend to do better and bigger harvests from the drobes when i scrog them, thanks for looking in,peace
