I'm going to do my best to keep things updated :) Please pester me if I do slack off and you're interested.
So, what do we have here? Two strains from my seed stash :) The first is a OG Kush from Barney's Farm. The second is an interesting cross from a breeder out in Colorado. Stardawg cross with something or another :)
The OG kush is feminised and the Stardawg is a regular bean. I'm playing a little game of Russian Roulette and planting one regular seed. If I get pollen, I'll have some interesting seeds and if I get a female, some interesting clones.
All of my fertiliser solutions use RO water that has also been through a DI filter. EC is 0.0 and PH from the unit is 7, but drops to 5 quickly after mixing as it starts to pick up air while mixing. PH nearly always has to be adjusted up.
Plants were started by soaking for four hours in a 1% peroxide solution with Nitrozyme and a very small amount of base nutrition. Then placed into a rockwoll plug, pre-soaked in a lightly fertilised solution with Nitrozyme, TrickoLogic and CannaZym added. TDS was 1.2EC and PH was 5.8.
After three days, the seeds were transplanted into a 70/30 Perlite/Vermiculite mix and sprayed with the same solution as the rockwool.
These have now been placed under a T5HO 2ft florescent lamp and the PPFD has been adjusted to ~100.
Environmental conditions seem to be OK. Not much control in my little seedling chamber, but it's currently running at ~26C and 70% humidity. No ventilation other than an open door.
After about 5-7 days, these will be moved over into a slightly larger chamber where I have a small 100w LED and more control over the environment.
Thanks for looking. There's not much to show yet. The plan is to grow them out and take cuttings that can be placed within my hydroponics system. The Stardawg will stay in Perlite if its a male and I'll remove it once it's spend it's money
