It's a shame the buds are a bit leafy because there's some really terpy plants here, I'm still not sure if this was caused by early defoliation, the fungus gnats attacking the roots, or possibly even a PH issue :idn: I think my pen is working correctly but I've been using the same one for a long time now, probably time I made the switch to bluelab pen anyway to rule this out. I'm sure they will smoke ok but they don't normally look like this, it's a bit unusual :calmag: :puff puff:

Week 8 (day 50)
Been flushing a few days, starting to get some light fade and some purple colours starting to show. Did find some bud rot on red wine #3, not surprising since the humidity has been up to 70% at times, this pheno doesn't seem to be the one I'm after so I'm not too fussed, lost only a small amount so far but I'm keeping an eye on the rest of the plant and I might harvest it early if need be. They are looking quite heavy, the u.v hasn't really affected the yield as far as I can see and they are still packing on weight even tho temps have been average mid 20s for most of this run. Smell is becoming increasingly difficult to contain, glad this one is nearly over. Ok cheers all peace :puff puff:  :barmy: :pass: :cowby: :thanks: :coco:

What temps do you try and keep during flowering bio, most people used to say keep the temps higher with leds but mostly I'm seeing about 26 c now and the buds seem ok I'm pretty new to leds and even with me growing indoors I struggle to keep the temps over 25 26 degrees. All looks good mate well done especially for such a low wattage grow

Nice result mate.
I know what you mean about temperature this year.
I'm just coming to the end of a grow and the CMH is going in the tent.
I think the plants do better around 28c with led.
What UV are you using and at what times?

I like the temps to be 28-30c ideally with LEDs but there hasn't been one grow this year where I havent needed to use the radiator and I can't afford the constantly rising energy bills any more :rage:
The U.Vs are from Migro and I have them on for 3 hours in the middle of the on cycle. Haven't noticed any burnt tips or anything so far.

Are you using the UVB all the way through flower?

@Treetrunk I was originally planning to use them from weeks 6-10 but I've had a problem with bugs so I started using them in week 5 to see if they help and I'm ending the run a week early so it's weeks 5-9. As far as I can tell, the yield doesn't seem diminished and the light stress seems normal but I have moved the lights around at 7 weeks because they were not mounted centrally so I'm having them either side of the ducting if that makes sense (they are about 2 ft away from canopy). Also the timer cycle I have them on (starting at midnight) for 1 hour then half hour off, 3 times total. On the next run I'm re-arranging things so the ducting won't get in the way and I can have them hung properly. Cheers  :puff puff:
