now ive added the air pump/stone thingy its so much better and seems to be holding.

I suppose its keeping it mixed properly and stopping PH`ing juice from dropping out of mix. Jobs a good en by sound of it Hmr .

So I tried with a nutrient circulator (siccee 1000nano) and then i stopped at one point coz. Since then I didn't use it and everytime I checked ph with or without stirring I still got the same reading. I was using coco nutes tho so not sure if its the way ph down bonds to certain things..I dunno.. but my pH swing up was minimal, max it would climb.to would be +0.5.

The reason I used the circulator was because of salt build up in my res then I realised I was being a bell end and over feeding. I think pk 13/14 also had summat to do with it. In winter I out a heater in as well and with both of these as a combo it screwed things up for me..maybe coz the nutrient temp was too high with lots of evaporation so the ec went up and ph went squiffy IIRC.

yea for winter im gonna get a fish tank heater for winter.

I need to mix up a new batch of nutes as i forgot i needed to use the bloom nutes (like a dickhead), but should be fine its only 3.5 weeks ish in flower.

man my ph swing was fucking nuts, like nearly 2ph in 3 or 4 days. Spoke to GMO about it in chat and he suggested that it could be because the oxygen is dissolving which is why i added the air pump. Seems to have done the trick.

Interesting bro..everdays a school day! Did you add that pump in the res? Got a link bro? When it comes to daft mistakes, I'm in that club too hahaha..its always the obvious thinga I forget. When I first started growing I didn't think of mixing the nutes in the bucket when I was running nft...then I wondered why my pH was soo low after putting it in the tank for a few hours.. don't think you can get thicker then this mate lollll my grow was awful

Sweet. Cheers dude. Might give this a go on the next grow..maybe in conjuction with a circulator. Autpot and the grow shop said its not necessary for either but logic tells me it makes sense to ensure there's enough o2 and the solution stays mixed.

I've changed to feed to the bloom nutes, 2ml a and b. pH at 6.2 but I didn't have to alter it, it was at what I wanted direct from the feed mix. First time for everything!
