It's very difficult to see what to do from pictures mr scoops especially when your trying to help someone make the right choices with a plant thats not really playing to the rules I go by much lower numbers than wu has been feeding and I always assume that when the plant has grown its mass it doesn't really need much else unless you ask a nutrient Co lol 😂 so less is more in My opinion but every day is a school day and it would be boring if everything was the same what ever happens thou this will yield very well hopefully good quality . Its good to have something that keeps us on our toes
Pictures lie a lot lol. Even when I take them, I'm like..nah that's not what I'm seeing right in front of me. It just doesn't do the bud sights justice either..they are much bigger than in the photos...thank god for th3 bowl trimmer!

Can you not just turn system off and top feed plain water ,its in a big pot if I remember rightly can't be too much of a problem to remove valve etc and put a tray underneath not necessarily flushing just slowly removing excess . By the way I've never used an auto pot just my thoughts
What they say and it looks true too, is that from bottom fed systems the salts build up at top. So I'd have to run feck tonnes of water through it and then feed again. I don't have th3 luxury anymore, she's literally filled the 1.2x1.2 space and I've had to tie some.branches to the side.

There's a few things I need to correct on the next run. So I'll take it from there..but this has probably been my best grow to date..with yellowing not as bad, and th3se bud sites are fekking monsters dude.
Plant will just use any salts in pots Wu if put on water and they're not burning too much that's way to go when you next feed runs out. 8-)

Never thought of it like that..I thought the salt build up becomes unusable to the plant. I.e. in my head I saw it as salt actually builds up and hardens lol. I dunno man. But make sense bro. Hopefully at 3ml vs previous 4ml may keep it okay until next week. Then imma smack it on water.. by then I think pisitils would have deffo folded in.

Yes if its dry and hard its no good to plant but if your medium is wet most of salts in their will get used, obviously on top and around edges where its not wet so long or as much it may not get used.

So a bad thing happend..since the last top up, the water hadn't been flowing to the valve. I had a blockage in the pipe. Thankfully I checked the tray last night. I gave the pipe a good blow in the direction to the reservoir and then squeezed it along several points and had all this black gunk come out. I used to open up the inline valve once a week and drain out at least 250ml but I hand for a month or so..I guess this is what can happen.

There are only a couple for colas that need to start turning orange but the rest of the sites are ready me thinks. I can't wait to bang this on water now. Hopefully she drinks a fair bit until the weekend and them imma change it out.

@2-Scoops how long would you say I leave on water.. 1 week?

No mate pop them on water till it proper yellows up especially up top, it makes a much better smoke and gets rid of the dark green look. Also if theirs any colours in genetics like purps it will bring that through. Basically i aim around 14 days on water before chop, i know its not always possible, but yes tis what i aim for. It yellows up cus plant ferts are cut off so it uses all carbs/ferts/sugars/food that it has stored up in its leaves, so your buds will still carry on swelling up nicely during in this time. 8-)

Thanks bud. Everyday's a school day brother!

She's started to drink again. I'm checking the tray daily now..propa para. The smaller buds around the small are nice and ripe. Can't wait to add water this weekend.

You can easily mod that system and use a bit larger tubing so it doesn`t fill with gunk so much or you can simply change out the tube lines like for like after each grow for pennies. The tubing is cheap as on fleabay or amazoon. TBH im really surprised the tubing has gunged up so quickly cus your water i think is near on soft water.

Check out the grow done in auto-pots by Minty in the diary link in this thread i posted up. He also modified the system, if its not in the diary link its one after but i know he did it. Make sure those valves are free from anything like build up between grows cus they can stick on or off from time time if they're mucky, although its very rare in a clean a system. If ya ever notice this happen mid grow just tapping top of valve usually sorts it out till you can properly have it out for a good clean

Thanks bro.

I could still see water in the tray today but the level was quite so. So either it's drink the same amount roughly the same time daily when I check so its not fully empty ready to refill, or its been like that since yday which I find hard to believe as it has been warm here so naturally they should drink more. I couldn't really tell if the res had gone down since yday..Well not substantially at least. She seems to maybe perked up a little..again hard to tell.

I'm in hard water dude..0.6ec from tap.
