Re: ChemD S1s CSI Humboldt
Thanks chaps. There's definate variation in the S1 progeny so searching it is part of the fun. The other ChemD #1 is quite a different expression.

Re: ChemD S1s CSI Humboldt
So now the NF5 has been chopped this ChemD2 has pride of place and has been opened out a bit.
It's frikin massive. I'm genuinly slightly scared.

The NF2 is tiny in comparison in the middle and the ChemD1 on the right, less stretch.

Re: ChemD S1s CSI Humboldt
Looking happy AF though.
Unless you're a bamboo master, I'd throw a net in there if I were you.

Re: ChemD S1s CSI Humboldt
Cheers NiceOption. Stakes might be the answer due to everything else going on in there. The branches are actually quite brittle, any attempt at LST has resulted in branches breaking at the base, bamboo may be the way forward.Nice Option wrote: ↑Tue Apr 11, 2023 6:38 pmLooking happy AF though.

Re: ChemD S1s CSI Humboldt
What a difference a day makes after my new found hobby of bending branches.
ChemDS1 #2

ChemDS1 #1 (about a week or two ahead)

These are monsters compared to the ones @Cave Hill Cole grew out, clearly some variation in the S1 progeny. An absolute honour to grow S1s from that original cut from CSI Humboldt.
