Greetings all, thanks for the support & for following along everyone. Always cool to know there are people as interested in the same genetics and growing styles as myself.
Its day 10 of flower today and the plants seem to be moving along happily through flower. I fed them a microbe/compost tea with a bunch of goodies Monday, on top of the salt diet they are on. So far adding the ultra filtered protein powder doesn't seem to be doing them any harm. The whole idea of the plant teas is two-fold. One is to keep them happy and full of additional microbes, they wouldn't get in straight salts, the microbes also help in flavor production. The second reason is for mainly terps/flavours. So I am also adding additional soft rock phosphate to the teas. Apparently its highly soluble so it should get into the root zone as a carbon based nutrient and thus aide in the production of terpenes through increased brix levels. Who know if it works, but the plants are getting big.
Here is the left side of the tent. The Dr Who up the back has had a good leaf strip, but she still needs a little more work done before day 21. The PU1 up front is getting tall, she has a lanky OG kind of structure so far.
Here is the middle of the tent. The mountain temple up the back has had a bit of leaf strip too, she is such a leafy plant, she needs a bunch more. The thing i love about the the MT is she hardly stretches and as a really happy up beat sativa high. The little PU2 up the front has come along, she wigged out a little and threw a bunch of single leaf blades late in veg. Most likely from being too cramped and root bound. She seems to be coming around
Then we have the far right side of the tent. The moontang up the happy looks happy as can be, is full of lovely vertical tops and bud sites. I just hope she doesn't get fried by the light. The summer is on the way out the door here, so she should have an ok run the next 8 weeks or so. Then there is a PU3 up front. Ive have given her a light leaf strip and she seems hunky dory. All PU's will get cloned today or tomorrow.
