Oh ok, In which case I won't rush to get any new feed yet then. I'll use up what I have first. It's Westland multi porpoise compost, the same brand I used for the photo plants I did last year that got massive and they were really healthy looking so I stuck with it for this one. I don't know if there's a better soil to be used? I just knew that band so stuck with it.2-Scoops wrote:Any ferts should grow you some decent bud. Lots and lots of grows were done with tom feed years back its only since noughties that weed specific ferts have proper took off. I could only get Grow-Tec or Vitalink in my local shop down market way back. I would think only thing tom feed may possibly be lacking enough of is calcium and magnesium cus i seem to remember lots of grows done with tom feed that i saw seamt to get calcium or magnesium deficiency later in flowering, dont sweat on it too much though.Pork Chop Express wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 4:15 pmI just need to get some better feed as the one I'm using was a 5-5-5 tomato feet that I read was good. But I think you guys are using way better stuff.
Is that dirt or coco your using ? I've seen some decent grows with tom feed done in coco as well. In fact i nearly went that route once, i still have all tom feed in my cupboard that i bought for it. I never did but i can never say never and its always their as back up i suppose.
I'm a little confused about coco still. I'd probably mess it up lol.

, but that was long ago. I`d prolly look at adding 25% or 30% perlite to your soil for future grows as well it will just keep dirt more aerated. But yes i tend to go by how plant is looking and it if it looks healthy then why faff about using this and that or buying what not for no reason. I could prolly get away with using tom ferts in coco as said previous I've seen a few decent grows with them, maybe one day when my balls have dropped hey

) hopefully they don't get moody about moving house again.
