I just need to get some better feed as the one I'm using was a 5-5-5 tomato feet that I read was good. But I think you guys are using way better stuff.
Any ferts should grow you some decent bud. Lots and lots of grows were done with tom feed years back its only since noughties that weed specific ferts have proper took off. I could only get Grow-Tec or Vitalink in my local shop down market way back. I would think only thing tom feed may possibly be lacking enough of is calcium and magnesium cus i seem to remember lots of grows done with tom feed that i saw seamt to get calcium or magnesium deficiency later in flowering, dont sweat on it too much though.

Is that dirt or coco your using ? I've seen some decent grows with tom feed done in coco as well. In fact i nearly went that route once, i still have all tom feed in my cupboard that i bought for it. I never did but i can never say never and its always their as back up i suppose.
Oh ok, In which case I won't rush to get any new feed yet then. I'll use up what I have first. It's Westland multi porpoise compost, the same brand I used for the photo plants I did last year that got massive and they were really healthy looking so I stuck with it for this one. I don't know if there's a better soil to be used? I just knew that band so stuck with it.

I'm a little confused about coco still. I'd probably mess it up lol.

I've never grown weed plants in soil but i think Westland soil was always said decent and John Innes too, well i tell a lie i did my first ever grow in miracle grow but im saying nowt about that one , but that was long ago. I`d prolly look at adding 25% or 30% perlite to your soil for future grows as well it will just keep dirt more aerated. But yes i tend to go by how plant is looking and it if it looks healthy then why faff about using this and that or buying what not for no reason. I could prolly get away with using tom ferts in coco as said previous I've seen a few decent grows with them, maybe one day when my balls have dropped hey  If you do buy any more ferts i see the GHO guys on here are selling summink called "The End" it looks good stuff from what im seeing the guys grow with it on here. 8-)

Coco is easy enough but can be a bit of a faff at times.

Haha same with me and Coco... Maybe one day when I'm brave. But yeh at the moment this soil is doing fine, as I said the last two plants I grew were 4.5ft high, healthy as an ox bushy green monsters (it was just my error at the end because I was completely clueless as to why they weren't flowering - I didn't know they needed 12/12 and they were just out on the patio in veg untill they died , what a plonker lol)

I really like the look of that feed. One bottle and done, easy to use... I very much might give that a go once this bottle runs out. Infact I almost certainly will. Thanks Image

Another Friday. 6 days since repotting into bigger pots and they're growing alot faster now.

The critical Kush is very thick and bushy, the gorilla cookies seems to be thinner and taller but both coming along nicely this week with no issues.

Upped the feed to 2ml per 500ml water twice a week and they seem to be happy enough with that! Light on 40%. All in all another boring week.

Until next time, see ya.ImageImage

After taking these photos I took them out to water etc, noticed roots were already hanging out of the bottom of the pots.

So off to homebase I went and got these much bigger pots (I think they're around the 9/10litre mark) and repotted these up again (I know I shouldn't mess with them but the other pots were too small so I risked it ) hopefully they don't get moody about moving house again.

Anyway. Much bigger pots now - last time messing. Worst case scenario, I have to start again Image

With autos you don't really want to be potting up at all, it's best to start with final pots to get most out of them. I'm sure you will be ok tho, they don't look like they have even gone into flower yet :oik!:

Yeh as soon as these have a week or two left I'll get the next one started and get it straight into its big pot and do it right.

Hopefully these are ok with being messed around. I'm sure I won't get loads from these two but aslong as I get enough to last me through the next grow

We'll see how it plays out I guess lol.
