You ever try the strain Tina (constantine x triple OG) from exotic genetix? It's a good one

Re: dukes drobes
I'll second that Duke, what a grow. Do you ever get problems with the canopy not getting enough light lower down?
Stunning grow mate.

Re: dukes drobes
hi mafooo i have good microclimate control mostly but it can be a challenge more so in the winter ,my biggest pest is high rh and little headroom so air exchange is limited so good climate control is a must,i still have some issues with budrot i lost a good few ounces last year due to being a huge slacker and good harvest, ive had another good harvest so slacking a bit hence rather over full nets!
cheers for looking in.
hi pet g and thank you for comment, peace

Re: dukes drobes
hi no problem with light its air or rather air exchange that is the biggest problem and as long as the canopy is sensible height and has an air channel through mid canopy (just remove oldest fan leaves) and anything below the net should be removed before it rots due to the lack of light and high rh, that is a big benefit of the quantum leds the light penetration is very good esp for the scrog method the only downside imo is there lack of heat hence the tube heaters,i still miss my hps though not the cost.Tictok wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 5:32 pmdef not the healthiest foliage to start with being neglected for 6 months does that!
but they soon recovered even my extreme fast training with large pliers and taped stems they recovered in a week, tough buggers see they have to be to survive my veg cab neglect.cheers

hi wrh not so good, this winter she lost an awful lot to the frost even in the sunroom some the damage was terminal but they was far to large to have in the house, then we had a rot problem and lost some real old cacti very sad but the indoor ones have faired well with a growlight on them,
some have gotten real big though,i shall get some pics later, cheers and stay well.
thanks everyone for visit and comments its nice, bless you all and your plants!

Hrh has had a few problems with a couple of hers this year she has a little sick bay set up for them . It's sad when you lose an old plant that you've looked after for years isn't itduke wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 6:59 pmhi no problem with light its air or rather air exchange that is the biggest problem and as long as the canopy is sensible height and has an air channel through mid canopy (just remove oldest fan leaves) and anything below the net should be removed before it rots due to the lack of light and high rh, that is a big benefit of the quantum leds the light penetration is very good esp for the scrog method the only downside imo is there lack of heat hence the tube heaters,i still miss my hps though not the cost.Tictok wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 5:32 pmdef not the healthiest foliage to start with being neglected for 6 months does that!

Re: dukes drobes
Hello fella . Still in those old drobes then. Jo says hi and give tina our love .
Nice to see u still at it. I know a way for u to do away with the tube heaters over lights on if u still finding the leds dont have the heat you want . Use the MacGyver skill set u have
"Forest's heat pipe"
Take a length of plastic pipe and add a fan on one end (top is best) you can cut a funel up to mate the fan to pipe, sth like a 3inch pipe and a 80mm or 120mm pc sized fan (rs sell 240vac versions and very powerful for size and better than the 12vdc ones, or use a 12vdc)
put it with fan above the light in a corner near the cold air in inlet, and run the pipe down to under the screen . This utilises the waste heat that goes up and out the filter. And there u have it free heating virtually!
Im going to try and be around here more i want a change . Ive been on the facebook groups for last few years helping the nubies and idiots of which are numerous lol . The misinformation is unreal .
So back to the forums for me .
Im still growing in a cuboard , a drobe and my fount porch . Im a dirt loving organic hippy these days .
Great to see u here fella . Do u still use the van ? Will u be down this summer?

i shall have a look in my spare bits box and try the heater idea though not sure how well it will work with extraction on though being such a small volume of space i dare not reduce extraction too far as rh climbs to silly level, not sure how much power is saved if needing the heater but i suspect its not far off the cost of running a 250w hps,its the worry of budrot keeps the heaters plugged in and so far so good, sold the van as tina can no longer cope in it but got masses more than i ever thought due to high demand for caravans nearly a grand!
i would love it if you 2 come and visit again soon though,we are always here now.
anyhow i took a few pics tonight from all 3 drobes starting with the bigger drobe then the tiny veg cab then the smaller drobe.
most are labeled for clarity and stats in pics so here goes! thanks for looking in all.
mon the drobes!!!

I do love your drobe jungle.
That upskirt of the double strawberry looks mad. Propper bush.
Rock on Duke.
