Its first additive in my bag and my number 1 goto additive is silicon.
Those material pots i know plenty use them even in coco but I've never really been a fan i much prefer old school plastic pots/buckets whatever

Thankyou @Momma bear I'll get them back on a more routine feed. After growing in soil for years I just start panicking when the pot is still heavy as hell. It's hard to convince myself to water again lol. I'm gunna give them a feed in a minuteMomma bear wrote: ↑Sat Feb 25, 2023 5:08 pmThey are looking good Benji. I do agree tho I feed mine daily. I’ve got 3 plants and they get 20liters a day split between them. They are looking loads better tho
I used plastic pots on my last run but unsure if I liked them. I guess maybe it doesn't make a difference with coco medium.
I use gro-tec silicon and use at around 0.5ml per ltr i use from around 7 to 10 days above ground right till i flush at end. Main ingredients is mostly potassium silicate, I've used it for years now but in more recent times its come to light as not being most readily available form of Si, so when this bottle is finished i shall be purchasing Buddhas Tree >> solar green power which has lots of silicic acid in bottle and its now considered easiest available form of Si to the plant from word go, all other brands with silicic acid in cost a bloody fortune but i found this brand at a fair price.
I like the 10 to 12ltr pots for coco myself, usually its just the cheapo £1 buckets from Wilko or B&Q that i use and keep for years. I got 4 i just rotate grow to grow 2 at a time. Bigger pots its said produce bigger yields whether that true or not feck knows, i suppose it is if you veg up larger plants b4 flowering, feck knows though tbh, but for my room size ones i use fit perfect.
Ah that's fair enough, I'll continue using plant magic Hydro Sillicon and see how that goes. I have just fed them all all now though with just Canna A & B (2.5ml) 1.5lt.2-Scoops wrote: ↑Sat Feb 25, 2023 7:10 pmI use gro-tec silicon and use at around 0.5ml per ltr i use from around 7 to 10 days above ground right till i flush at end. Thankyou Scoops. I've had to buy a big turkey baster thing to suck all the run off haha. It hasn't come yet but once it does I'm going to stick a net above them so I can train them better.
