I've read a few conflicting things about hydro sillicon
Its first additive in my bag and my number 1 goto additive is silicon.

Those material pots i know plenty use them even in coco but I've never really been a fan i much prefer old school plastic pots/buckets whatever

They are looking good Benji. I do agree tho I feed mine daily. I’ve got 3 plants and they get 20liters a day split between them. They are looking loads better tho

Thankyou @Momma bear I'll get them back on a more routine feed. After growing in soil for years I just start panicking when the pot is still heavy as hell. It's hard to convince myself to water again lol. I'm gunna give them a feed in a minute

I used plastic pots on my last run but unsure if I liked them. I guess maybe it doesn't make a difference with coco medium.

The flower run I just chopped was in 4.8lt plastic pots. Contemplated using them for the Coco grow but iknow it'll be a twice a day feeding job once flowering.

Only thing I don't like about the fabric pots is it's tougher to train, easier using clips on the plastic pots. I may go back to them in the future.

So how often do you feed your sillicon?

I use gro-tec silicon and use at around 0.5ml per ltr i use from around 7 to 10 days above ground right till i flush at end. Main ingredients is mostly potassium silicate, I've used it for years now but in more recent times its come to light as not being most readily available form of Si, so when this bottle is finished i shall be purchasing Buddhas Tree >> solar green power which has lots of silicic acid in bottle and its now considered easiest available form of Si to the plant from word go, all other brands with silicic acid in cost a bloody fortune but i found this brand at a fair price.

I like the 10 to 12ltr pots for coco myself, usually its just the cheapo £1 buckets from Wilko or B&Q that i use and keep for years. I got 4 i just rotate grow to grow 2 at a time. Bigger pots its said produce bigger yields whether that true or not feck knows, i suppose it is if you veg up larger plants b4 flowering, feck knows though tbh, but for my room size ones i use fit perfect.

Ah that's fair enough, I'll continue using plant magic Hydro Sillicon and see how that goes. I have just fed them all all now though with just Canna A & B (2.5ml) 1.5lt.

Just moved them into the bigger tent. Hopefully they start thriving under LED. Train them, bring them back to 100% health and flip!

Evening GR420.

So, these are shy of being 2 months old now. Admittedly they should be bigger I think but I didn't give them the best start. Definitely see some different phenos going.

Pheno 2 is my favourite. Biggest branches. Tallest plant. Under perfect conditions I can tell she would be a real producer.

I've taken cuts of each plant. Hopefully they root because I'm terrible at cloning but worth a shot.

I've turned my LED down so they can stretch abit and heal. I was noticing some discolouration on the leafs from the lights so I raised them and slightly dimmed.

There now under 2x 100w invisiblesunled.
Temp 23c/26c RH 65%

I give them 2lt feeds.
2.5ml Canna A & B
1ml Magnecal
0.5ml Hydro Sillicon

I'm now on my 5th consecutive day of feeding. So I'm now feeding daily. Wanted to do every other day but they seem to love the daily feeds.

Hopefully I can flip them in a couple weeks.

Thankyou Scoops. I've had to buy a big turkey baster thing to suck all the run off haha. It hasn't come yet but once it does I'm going to stick a net above them so I can train them better.

I'm training daily to try help a few of them spread out as 3 of them are quite compact and bushy. Just waiting until there the right height above the radiator to trellis them (avoid burnt buds... past mistakes) and for my turkey baster as I'm constantly taking the plant outs to empty run off from the trays.. (buckets next time or some contraption)

Really hope pheno 2 is healing. The yellow hasn't got worse but it does appear on new growth. She's my favourite and hope her clones root. I can tell she's the monster out the 4.
