Let me have a dig around in the garage later and see if I got a small LED you can have.

Send the original light you got back to amazon and get a refund BTW.
That's a really generous offer. I don't want to put anyone out though, I feel bad.

I don't mind saving abit back this month and buying one of the new ones next month. But if you're absolutely sure you don't mind that'll be amazing! I'll gift @vader this light as he said he could make use of it - I brought it last year so I can't return it anyway.

The only thing you've put out is my back making me root through boxes in the garage looking for lights!

WHat size tent are you getting or have got??? Where will you put it up? (in the house or shed etc?)

I won;t ask if you'll be putting it up yourself as that's just filthy.

See, I may have something half decent for you. 3500 k spectrum 240w LED panel thingymajig.

PS - you can return anything to amazon if you email them enough.

The one I have bookmarked is 80x80x160 - only need a small one for my use.

It'll go in the dining room at the back of the house (changed it to our bedroom because stairs were a pain in the arse for me) which means we have lots of space for a tent (did have a weight bench there but we got rid of that as I no longer used it) So now it's just an empty corner waiting for a use. However I am toying with the idea of moving it into the barn depending on how in the way it is . I'll just play it by ear I guess and feel it out, I got into this abit naively not realising what I'd need...

Maybe I'll get the wife to try - she loves getting a refund and arguing with companies lol. But I'd honestly rather gift it to someone if they have any use for it. Be handy for micro herbs, chillis, other house plants etc etc. If it can save someone else afew quid I'll be happy.

I think most of the LED stuff I have is too big for that space.

If it were me,and I was on a budget, I would forget about LEDs in that size tentand grab a HPS kit dimmable 600W, then run it at 150W or at a push 250W in colder times. But that's me.

YOu can pick a kit up for £50-60. Just ask the shop if they'll swap out the 600w bulb for a 150 or 200watter.

You'll smashout some decent dope in that tent (even autos) under the HPS as a beginner.

Ah man, my wife moaned about some pillows being lumpy once... sent them a stern email and we had a van full of pillows turn up as an apology. She also complained that I cut my finger on a strimmer and Black n Decker sent me a new electric screwdriver as an apology and a note telling me to be more careful opening a box with a strimmer in . I ended up poking myself in the eye with that electrick screwdriver. It was cursed!

Yeh I'll definitely look at that then. Really appreciate the advice and the offer, you guys are a cool bunch for sure!

I can't wait to finally get a growing space set up and get some results. Once I get a tent space set up and these autos out the way I'll have another go at a fem seed.

Haha mines literally the same, whenever we go anywhere she's got vouchers to use because she's complained about something in the past. Can't take her anywhere . She's so quiet and polite too you'd never guess she was a right Karen over emails lol.

Thanks again

I have a couple of old purple lights spare if you can't get anything else. They do work but I'm not sure how many grows they would do until the chips are burnt out, but they will grow bud for sure. They are the Viparspectra V300 (130w) and a Maxisun (135w) which has a dimmer as well. They are small lights so they might be suitable for your space, I'll send some pics :oik!:

Looking good pork chop, hopefully can sort a light the ones bio has put up will be Miles better then the one you have! I also got misled when first started growing few years back… it was only when I joined here I learnt about watts etc and I defo found out the hard way as already had brought all wrong stuff.. if you do need I have my lumi 600w dimmable hps, digi ballast you can have it’s like the light marcus was saying to get as they good for the 80x80x160 as I started in a 80x80x160 also. But I 100% prefer led now as I grow in shed so heat in summer and hps is too much for me to cope with unfortunately as a 600w led is a lot more exspensive to buy then a 600hps

Anyway happy growing and good luck:)

Hey thankyou for the kind offer but I went ahead and brought the Fecida cr600 that was recommended to me above. It was on offer on Amazon and I had a voucher to use as well so only cost me £60 in the end instead of £90.

Thankyou for the offer though. I really appreciate it.

Thankyou for the offer but Ive purchased the Fecida cr600 that someone above recommended as it was on offer on Amazon plus I had a voucher to use aswell. So that's light sorted now atleast. And next month the tent and extract will be dealt with too.

Thanks, everyone here has been very helpful so far. Really glad I stumbled across the group when I did or I'd have probably just given up on the whole endeavour lol. You guys are a really good bunch!

2-Scoops wrote:That's a right load of rubbish for growing bud, you just pissing money away down shithouse in more ways than one buying and using that. Yes it will grow and veg your plants up ok, but for budding a weed plant up you really need to be looking at least 100watts true power draw, i mean colour spectrum is sound but rest of it is crap man. Looking at specs its 12v x 2.5a = 30 watt true power draw.

You can get much better for that price, if it was all about looks it would be a winner hands down. You can pick up half decent led lights 2nd hand on eBay for that price and cheaper and yes even new that will perform better. A quick look i see you can get plenty half decent and better led 2nd hand as well as new from £30 to £80.

So yes id think about getting summink else for flowering. I mean even this which is a £5`ver atmo is gonna trounce that and easily out perform it when it comes to flowering plants out https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/255983035364 ... R5SCspDPYQ

Anyhow it will veg you plants up cheap enough but its a bit of a waste of time if your wanting it producing buds Pork Chop. Can you not get your cash back and ill try to find ya a half decent new or 2nd hand one on eBay for a similar price ? But hit me with a pm anytime before you splash out again and ill take a look for you and find summink x10 better than this rubbish.

Old wardrobes or small cupboards are great for growing bud in too not just tents, i grow in a small cupboard.
Hey mate. Thankyou for the advice, I really appreciate offering to help.

How about this one? Any good? Looks to be more powerful than the one I have and full spectrum??Image

Mate I'd invest in one of the small invisible sun boards or a fecida cr600. They've both done me well.
Brought the Fecida cr600. It was on offer plus I had a voucher to use aswell so it was really reasonable price wise.

Arrived today while I was out so it's not set up but God damn this thing is bright. I fully see what you're all saying now about my other one being crap .

Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it
