Iknow, I've only got canna a & b for coco on hand at the moment. I was hoping to have them in coco by now but there a little behind due to colder temps so they've had a set back. There starting to yellow now so I'm going to pot them up tomorrow in coco and start feeding them. Just need to hold on for 1 more day!

But that doesn`t matter much at all really, you`ll be good using those typo ferts in dirt or any other medium for that matter cus they contain everything for plants needs and more. I wouldn`t do it other way around though cus its a prolly a bit different using soil base ferts in coco or hydro, then again we can never say never hey.

Oh dam, fair enough lol I thought you could just use them for the specific medium there meant for. I'll see how they are tonight but they've only got until tomorrow until they have their new pot and medium. If there dry when I'm home from work I'll give them a small feed. Thanks!2-Scoops wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 1:34 pmBut that doesn`t matter much at all really, you`ll be good using those typo ferts in dirt or any other medium for that matter cus they contain everything for plants needs and more. Also Benji i find once they`ve been potted up and you`ve given coco a good fert drench, well growing plants first 2 or 3 weeks they only need around 100ml every few days, i find they tend to take off a little faster, tis just summink I've recently noticed after starting doing it for past year or so and i dont worry about run off at this time either. Errm oh yes and longer they're left in-between feeds they require a higher fert strength so deficiencies dont crop up, but 1ml a ltr should do trick with those for a week or so.Benjic93 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 2:25 pmOh dam, fair enough lol I thought you could just use them for the specific medium there meant for. Re: The new new ConsiousGenetics testers ( zapplez x Red Kachina)
I ended up giving a small feed of Canna A & B to them yesterday. There drying out daily now and need some sort of fert. I'll take care with transplanting them today into Coco with overwatering. I won't give them a good drench as people said above with the type of Coco I'm going with I shouldn't need it. So I'll give them a small feed around the pot to try avoid overwatering. Hopefully this Dynomyco helps them out aswell. Will post pics this afternoon once transplanted. Need to figure out wether to go with 6x 8lt pots or 4x 12lt pots. My 3x3 seems crammed with 6x 4lt flowers and I can only presume Coco plants are much bigger.2-Scoops wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 3:24 pmAlso Benji i find once they`ve been potted up and you`ve given coco a good fert drench, well growing plants first 2 or 3 weeks they only need around 100ml every few days, i find they tend to take off a little faster, tis just summink I've recently noticed after starting doing it for past year or so and i dont worry about run off at this time either. Re: The new new ConsiousGenetics testers ( zapplez x Red Kachina)
Myself i tend to soak coco before i pot up with fert strength im using then i just give 100ml or so every few days for a week or two till roots have spread a little and plant has come round from transplant, then ill just up ferts and feed as normal. Id prolly do that if your gonna do the 100ml or so thing.Benjic93 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 31, 2023 11:18 amI ended up giving a small feed of Canna A & B to them yesterday. Re: The new new ConsiousGenetics testers ( zapplez x Red Kachina)
Well, here they are lol
Looking a little pathetic at the moment. I've had to sacrifice 2 so they have enough room when flowering.
I gave them 1.5ml Canna A & B, 1ml Magncal, 1ml Hydro sillicon.
PH'ing seems like a chore! Took ages. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it eventually. I got the PH to 5.7.
I gave them a small feed last night so I just watered around the plant. Also sprinkled some Dynomyco at the base of the transplanted pot.
I'm sure what ever I've done wrong, they'll recover in time while I find my feet. I hope they become more happier now.

Hey GR420...
Sooo I think these babies are OVERWATERED. Maybe?
I transplanted them last Tuesday with a small feed and waited until last night to give them another feed. Was 2lt per pot (12lt pot)
They got - 2ml Canna A & B
1ml Hydro sillicon
1ml Magncal
6.0PH
( the feed I gave them when transplanted was 5.8PH.
Will they bounce back? I don't really know if there done for or not. Not looking great.
Two of the 4 doesn't seem too bad.
I just want to cull them and go again.
Temps been 23-26c 70% RH. 24HR Lights on.

Re: The new new ConsiousGenetics testers ( zapplez x Red Kachina)
If they turning pale in coco ? Id say its more under ferting and if they are in coco and you've not fed for 5 days why would it be overwatering ? I take your point though cus one or two kinda have that overwatered look, but i doubt its that and if they looked rough as fuck before feeding yesterday ? Then its defo not overwatering imo. So long as your not feeding proper cold ferts which can cause shock and lockout, but usually if that's case stems turn real dark red or purps and they dont look like they are. I really think its prolly lack of feeding I'd prolly risk giving lesser feeds every few days to see what happens, its not instant, but just keep eye on them and see if they start to perk up within a few days firstly, which should be first sign of them getting better before colour comes back. Maybe try 2ml every 2 days and just give them lesser amounts, dont worry about run off so much and just feed a little around plant, lets say 100ml - 200ml to see what happens. Don't give up on them cus nowts a lost cause they are hardy fuckers and do come back with vengeance usually. Id be dropping calmag as well Canna ferts have more than enough in.
