:coco:
So these got chop :ninja1: last night, man it took me ages i didn`t get to bed till 4.30am and i started about 1am, but jeez it usually takes about 1 to 1.5hours. So i put that down to 1 of two things, nu1: i was either well stoned and chugging along at a snails pace doing it or nu2: theirs more bud. I`ll go with number 1. But their was no waste what so ever on these except for crap in trimming bowl which is really top shit and good enough to toke, but it gets used for recipes and tinctures etc, im thinking i may make some topical cream or some sort of balms for aches and pains with some of this stuff along with tictures which i find is proper good stuff for aching joint pains. 8-)

So these got flushed through firstly and then were on a water only diet for 10 or 11 days, i really couldn`t leave them till after weekend as they were cooked and tip-top ready to go, but this strain has some mighty fine colouring and if i had got my timings right running a 9 week cycle instead of 10 which is what i was told then man these would have been purps to max. Sticky fuckas as well, my lips were proper sticking together as i kept nibbling away at bits, basically just ripping it from stem with my mouth like an animal :hungry: , all good fun though. End of shift i got me a full orange bucket full of weed to get wrecked on :running-around:

So i took some pics and you can see purps really starting to come through on these. Enjoy

Looks like a solid haul mate! I always hope that harvest & trim time will take less time than I think. Unfortunately that rarely seems to happen eh hahaha

Well done Mr scoops great haul there. Do you rate those bowl trimmers I've always hated trimming and its the part of the hobby I hate hence I've sort of stopped doing it. Good luck with your next one and I'm looking forward to your summer led grow.

Funny thing is i hardly do a thing, im more of a foreman on bud trimmer, all rest is left to mate, but im always making sure its done right and fast as possible, but i must have done his head in telling him to speed up all time when im out of bud for trimmer, i kept telling him i was thinking of sacking him if he didn't speed up cus he's getting slower.

Cheers both you lovely peeps. 8-)

Your lucky to have a mate or apprentice to help you. It's always just me & my garden snips I'm afraid. But the scissor hash is a nice wee plus at the end.

One day I might give the bowl trimmer a whirl. Looks to speed things up for sure

Yes i really rate them its proper halved and more my crop times depending how we go at it. Some say it destroys and rips trichs away from buds but man bloody bud is full of sticky goodness its not just on outside and end of shift the trim left behind in bowl is top grade shit to make other things like edibles and such like with. I've had this 3 or 4 years now and 2 or 3 rubber leaves/blades/whatever have snapped away more through my own heavy handedness than anything else. But it surely not that hard to replace them not that its called for yet but its a case of buying right size rubber and chopping to size to slide into metal casing and that's if you cant buy spares which you prolly could if i looked. But yes its a 10 outa 10`er from me. I think our record in that room with bowl trimmer was under an hour but i had another helper (my little bro) at time who knew what he was doing. Cheers Herby 8-)

Mate he's a top mukka of mine but he's bloody useless at everything, he cant even mend a puncture on his youngsters bike, but he`s well tight and keeps his trap shut which is number one main thing. TBH we make a good team cus if he wants owt mending or i do, I'll show him how a bit at time and he does it, problem is he cant do it twice unless he's shown again, his heads fucked up i swear, it can be really stressful too watching him do things he's like 50 year old teenager on his first day at work. I shouldn`t rip into him really but its nowt i wont say to him and he gives as good as he gets back so all good fun hey. But yes we dont use scissors anymore basically i just told him to rip all fan leaves off and then pull bud away from stems with finger and thumb , straight into trimmer and jobs a good en. I tell a lie i use a big pair of scissors for chopping long stems full of bud away from plant for him to sort buds from with his hands.

Man im fucked and cant really do the chop on my own, i did buy the bud trimmer to attempt it alone but it took about 6 hours and i was covered head to toe in it. But it was a case of using my teeth and one and only arm to get buds away from stems to put in trim bowl, never again it felt like my face had been glued together, i was bloody covered in the stuff  Cheers Cole 8-)
