It's time for another diary. This one was going to get hit with pollen but I'm starting to fall in love with one of the strains so im going to run them and see what they are about.
This is a full organic run using products from @GHO. Lighting is from Invisible Sun LED, seeds are all Seedstockers.
Strains
As mentioned this was going to be my first test seed run, literally hit them with some pollen and see what happened, see if I could get timings right, use CS, etc. But one of these strains is really playing to what I love about cannabis growing. All strains look, one is ticking every box I have so far.
Apollo Black Cherry - https://seedstockers.com/seedstockers-s ... cherry-fem
This si the one that's got me excited. Cherry seems to be making a come back in many strains being released. This is a collab between Humboldt Seed Organisation and Seedstockers... I had to have a go.
Sour D - https://seedstockers.com/feminized/sour-diesel-fem
Sour Diesel has been on my hit list for a long time. I've wanted to have a go at diesel for years. Seedstockers released one, I had to have a go.
Green Crack - https://seedstockers.com/feminized/green-crack-fem
Another strain thats been on my hit list for years. Ive seen some truly stunning examples of this strain over the years. With Seeedstockers releasing it, I had to have a go.
Nutrients/medium
I previously run a test with @GHO's The End. Its a 1 part organic feed with a lot of benefits on paper. That grow was doing extremely well but poor health and an invasion of thrips mid flower saw me had to leave the plants to dry out and dry. Despite this, when I got around to clearing out the groom and cleaned up some of the buds, it was cleasr that grow would have been on the higher end of my gpw ratios nd the smell on the bud that was left to die and dry out over weeks... Im back testing it again and I'm very impressed so far. On paper it should increase resin and oil production, and yield as well.
The End has a 10-10-10 NPK Ratio.
Ill be trying my hand at organic PK this time around. Using Sea Bird Guano and Soluble Triad Kelp. This will give me a nice boost.
Other products Ive used are:
Soluble Fulvic as foliar
Anaerobic Bacteris
Plant Aminos
All of the above are lovely in veg, plants seem healthier for it.
Im using Canna Coco Professional.
Kit:
Invisible Sun ISH 650.
Invisible Sun 720w custom jobby (prototype for the F Bars.
2 x 150mm L1 SytemAir RVK fans for extraction.
2 x 150mm x 600mm Rhino Pro carbon filters.
3 x 4 pot Wilma systems.
Bluelab PH pen.
We join the plants as they are getting into flower. They were vegged for a long time then given my old faithful lazy scrog method. I have fallen in love with the method as it makes use of every square inch of groom being used. No tucking once flipped, ram the net to full capacity before flip. Control plant height with pinching, beating, and lights.
Below you can see what I mean, the left side got the final tucking, the right side still needed doing. Suits a lazy grower as you wait till its all above the net a good few inches, the tuck it.
The below image is a few days after flip. Im now at day 10 12/12 and they are already showing true flower.
The plants on left are Apollo Black Cherry, the middle is Sour D, right is Green Crack.
Feed is now at 1ml per liter of The End, PH set to 6.0. I will be adding the sea bird guano and kelp in the next res change to get an organic PK boost on the go.
Thanks for looking in
