Organic Coco Grow With Seedstockers, Invisible Sun And Green Hand Organic

Post by Keeno »

Wassup GR420,

It's time for another diary. This one was going to get hit with pollen but I'm starting to fall in love with one of the strains so im going to run them and see what they are about.

This is a full organic run using products from @GHO. Lighting is from Invisible Sun LED, seeds are all Seedstockers.

Strains

As mentioned this was going to be my first test seed run, literally hit them with some pollen and see what happened, see if I could get timings right, use CS, etc. But one of these strains is really playing to what I love about cannabis growing. All strains look, one is ticking every box I have so far.

Apollo Black Cherry - https://seedstockers.com/seedstockers-s ... cherry-fem

This si the one that's got me excited. Cherry seems to be making a come back in many strains being released. This is a collab between Humboldt Seed Organisation and Seedstockers... I had to have a go.

Sour D - https://seedstockers.com/feminized/sour-diesel-fem

Sour Diesel has been on my hit list for a long time. I've wanted to have a go at diesel for years. Seedstockers released one, I had to have a go.

Green Crack - https://seedstockers.com/feminized/green-crack-fem

Another strain thats been on my hit list for years. Ive seen some truly stunning examples of this strain over the years. With Seeedstockers releasing it, I had to have a go.

Nutrients/medium

I previously run a test with @GHO's The End. Its a 1 part organic feed with a lot of benefits on paper. That grow was doing extremely well but poor health and an invasion of thrips mid flower saw me had to leave the plants to dry out and dry. Despite this, when I got around to clearing out the groom and cleaned up some of the buds, it was cleasr that grow would have been on the higher end of my gpw ratios nd the smell on the bud that was left to die and dry out over weeks... Im back testing it again and I'm very impressed so far. On paper it should increase resin and oil production, and yield as well.

The End has a 10-10-10 NPK Ratio.

Ill be trying my hand at organic PK this time around. Using Sea Bird Guano and Soluble Triad Kelp. This will give me a nice boost.

Other products Ive used are:

Soluble Fulvic as foliar
Anaerobic Bacteris
Plant Aminos

All of the above are lovely in veg, plants seem healthier for it.

Im using Canna Coco Professional.

Kit:

Invisible Sun ISH 650.
Invisible Sun 720w custom jobby (prototype for the F Bars.
2 x 150mm L1 SytemAir RVK fans for extraction.
2 x 150mm x 600mm Rhino Pro carbon filters.
3 x 4 pot Wilma systems.
Bluelab PH pen.

We join the plants as they are getting into flower. They were vegged for a long time then given my old faithful lazy scrog method. I have fallen in love with the method as it makes use of every square inch of groom being used. No tucking once flipped, ram the net to full capacity before flip. Control plant height with pinching, beating, and lights.

Below you can see what I mean, the left side got the final tucking, the right side still needed doing. Suits a lazy grower as you wait till its all above the net a good few inches, the tuck it.

The below image is a few days after flip. Im now at day 10 12/12 and they are already showing true flower.

The plants on left are Apollo Black Cherry, the middle is Sour D, right is Green Crack.

Feed is now at 1ml per liter of The End, PH set to 6.0. I will be adding the sea bird guano and kelp in the next res change to get an organic PK boost on the go.

Thanks for looking in :barmy:

Update - Day 13 Flower:

These are all into true flower now. I'll be hitting them tomorrow with the bird guano and kelp from @GHO to boost PK.

The @Invisible Sun lights are now on full whack. The ISH 650 is on 100%, the prototype F bars have had the extra 2 bars turned on, pushing output to 720w.

Im now at 0.9ml per litre of @GHO's The End, PH set to 6.1.

The strains couldn't be more different.

Plants on the right are Apollo Black Cherry, nice short and squat plants, not stretching much.

Plants in the middle are Sour Diesel, a good mix of genetics, not too short, not too tall.

The plants on the right are Green Crack, looking like a heavy Sativa so far. Really going for it already. I've started to pinch between each node on these already, they are already nearing the lights.

Here you can really see the difference between the Apollo Black Cherry and Green Crack, I'm going to need to really beat the Green Crack into submission in the next 2 weeks.

Much pinching is needed

Image

1 of the Sour Diesel is showing purple already, I'm not sure if this is common, it's not something I've seen before on the Seedstockers Sour D, hopefull, signs this one is a bit different and keeper.

Update - Day 19 flower:

Image

These have really gone for it the last week. They have set there true flowers, the stretch should be over... hopefully. Ill be giving them a serious hair cut in the next few days, ill leave under the net till week 4. I need to get some clones off a couple of these as there is already a rare girl in there, hopefully shes special too :barmy:

From left to right. Apollo Black Chery, Sour Diesel, Green Crack.

Apollo Black Cherry:

Image

This has all the hallmarks of a plant Id grow. Short, squat, big leafed, and she's got some dutty musky funk already. Definitely has a hint of cherry which is something I've not experienced before.

Sour Diesel:

Image

Image

Image

A strain I've been threatening to grow for years. There is a true dark purple plant in there as well. I've spoken to Seedstockers and they haven't seen a purple pheno, so this could be special. The purple girl has a deep fuel smell already, the other 3 are fuely with earthy undertones.

Green Crack:

Image

She's a beast. Not something id choose to grow given the fact shes gone mental in flower, I like mu Indica dominant plants. Of the 3 strains she's about as Sativa as they come. Real skunky structure. The smell is floral with some Ive had to bent over one of the main shoots completely, they are nearly in the lights but seem to have slowed down. One of the benfits to having no head room and lights with some oomph, the lights will stop them if nothing else well

Feed is currently 1ml per liter @GHO's The End. PH set to 6.2.
