I've never tried rockwool. You keep all mums in rockwool?

Re: Lit Farms Pheno Hut
With the mothers I’m planing go organic so be using soil as it’s slower and water only, to make things easier as the will not be in a drip.
I love Rockwool been playing around with it normally only the 3” transplant. I think I get better growth then starting with Rockwool and learned that the the roots in Rockwool and thinner than compared to coco where you get bigger roots, the only thing you really have worry about is let it dry out to much as you’ll lose overall volume of the cube so ideally drips are perfect.
What I’ll be using
Culiwool Rockwool:
3” = 400ml ( for the Green Pots)
4” = 900ml
Mini slab = 3.7L
My friend gave my 2 floraflex 2gal pot so going to a face off Rockwool auto vs 60/40 coco hand feed. Sick of coco mess
When lights on will update this need to change to a bigger tent
Where the salts go, the water will follow

Re: Lit Farms Pheno Hut
I used to grow in 20ltr pots with small rockwool cubes and clayballs (50/50 mix), jeez it must be like 20 years back now, it was when i first started out growing in the 7 ltr auto-pot system too till it fucked up, then i just hand watered plants RTW and used bigger pots after that like i use coco now, in fact its how i started growing RTW passive feeding hydro style, but yes i noticed plants and yield turned out bigger when i grew in coco this way which is why i stuck with it. Big up Grayyt and Feral from Aussie land for getting me started with coco. But yes tis a great medium you can smash it with good and proper. Did my head in prepping it all time though, but i still use rockwool cubes for seeds and cutts from time to time, basically i use whatever is at hand with seeds or cutts tbh. These look good though mate.ncrypta.core wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 11:12 amI love Rockwool been playing around with it normally only the 3” transplant.
