Re: Marcus has a bad case of "DiaryEar"
Hope you enjoy the wilma life mate, as Vador mentioned it can do you well to plan to top up the take 3-4 days in if needed and fresh tank weekly. But also as mentioned in chat, try not fill more than your plants will drink in a week. however there is a minimum fill amount. have a little play around cos you want the res filled enough that the pump is still below the water line when run off starts to come back into the tank.... if that makes sense

Re: Marcus has a bad case of "DiaryEar"
Cheers folks.
I've not worked out what the plan is yet but 4 plants, 11L pots will need 6 L a day minimum I reckon in full stride so some of that mafs and adding up stuff makes 5 days = 30L, 7 days = 42L...
So I may fill my 20L bucket with 18L and sling that in... add the A feed, then fill the bucket again and add the B feed then sling that in too...
36L and 6 days of grub but change it after 5 days so I got some reserve.
I'll just let the ph swing and I'll be around an EC of 1 anyway so if that climbs it shouldn't get too silly over 5 days.
I'm too lazy and do not have to room for header tanks and float valves. It was a battle trying to put a piece of pipe on a pump with this thing, so I'll just leave it be. Me and plumbing are not friends.
I did order 18L fabrics to go with this set up, but they're too big for the holding holes on the top.

So I'll use my old 11l plastic pots.

Re: Marcus has a bad case of "DiaryEar"
I'll run the 11l squares for now save me buying any new pots.
They're on the go now. 1ml/L of A+B and watered every 2 days.
I've decided to top the final 4 at the 3rd, strip everything below away and then top the 2 shoots again when big enough for 8 koalas on each plant.
I think.

They're easy to set up if you take a deep breath and don't lose your shit over a stupid pipe that won't go on.
These are fine, all on 1ml/L A+B when they start to dry.

Re: Marcus has a bad case of "DiaryEar"
Moved into the drying tent as it's 16*C and 70%RH in there, that plants hanging are now sat at 20*C and 65% RH which is where i want them and these...

They've been run through again today with 1ml /L of A+B at ph 6.
They'll need daily watering now till I can be arsed to pot them up, but I may hold them back in these pots, top and chop them and then flip before choosing the final 4 for the wilma.
The ShartyPantsDoggyDooDawgs on the left make your hands stink of that skunky funky smelly green shit when you brush past them. Alas, the Amys on the right aren't giving off anything like that yet.
Couple of fems in the middle are hit n miss. I got my eye on a boy or two for killing as they're lanky like lurch, I'll put money on them being dudes.
I'll wait till they hit 6th node and then get topping.

Hey mate. With mine I found the drain holes blocked with roots. I drill a few 6.5 mm holes below the pots.Marcus wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 4:22 pmCheers folks.
