Re: Trichrome Jungle Soul mate hybrids
Wassup everyone!!! The Shiva's soul are all down and dried apart from the 6 ft fall beastly #6 pheno which is still going and prob needs another week lol ,so photos of her all in good time as well.
So all the other 5 pheno's are really good to be honest,i'd say three have a very similar profile (pheno's 2,3 and 4) which is sharp lime/citrus with a sour milk/creamy undertone also bit hashy and are a really hybrid style effect.Pheno #1 is peppery and creamy with a very sedating effect and pheno #5 has a more purple kind of taste if that makes sense but with a similarity to the 2,3 and 4,the #5 is also more on the sedative side. All are super terpy and very enjoyable, they all have the greasy style of resin to them.
Unfortunatley the #3 and #5 had bud rot in the kola's but i think thats more my doing not having enough airflow and too high humidity in my new room, they were very big dense kola's but i dont think this line is particually prone,it was my doing i'm sure.
Also really bad news is that i've had to axe the rose soul's 3 weeks in to flower as ive got PM in my room and they were starting to get riddled with it so i've cut my losses and going for a full clear out and clean down, bleach, steam clean and sulphur burn, heart breaking to hack down the christmas run but i cant stand things not being clean and good.I'm 99% sure this PM has come from me bringing spores in from the cheese cuts i got recently grrr...i've kept them completely seperate from my setup and been careful not to cross contaminate, but it seems just bringing them anywhere near and even just visting the guy was enough to spread it,and then in turn my lack of airflow and too high humidity that caused the bud rot gave perfect conditions for it to take hold, coincided with the temps dropping outside as well, perfect storm type thing, fuckin nightmare!!!! still got the Orange soul's and they will be flowered very soon so i'll post about them at least.anyway here are the first 5 pheno's of the Shiva....
Pheno #1

pheno #2

pheno #3

pheno #4

and pheno #5 damn it was harsh to loose all 3 kolas grrr

So all in all i would recommend this variety, all pheno's are very dank indeed and yield was good,i didnt weigh them individually but from the 5 not including the 4 huge rotten kola's i got 307g and with a 300w panel so way more than a gram per watt as the #6 is yet to come down so add at least another 60/70 grams on to that,a good result!!! What i will say is tho they are not the branchiest plants, more pole style growth and the stretch is big,3 or more times depending on pheno,so if headroom is an issue i'd advoid haha, for what its worth the Rose soul's were alot more manageable height wise......cheers bimble

Re: Trichrome Jungle Soul mate hybrids
Ahh thanks @The Daze yes they faded out really well and came out nice,as for killing off the rose soul's...devastating indeed and not an easy decision as they were looking stellar and one pheno had straight rose water terps coming out.But at the end of day i think too many people try and hang on to stuff, spray their already flowering plants and stick their head in the sand like its going to remedy its self,it's not!!! sometimes you gotta cut your losses man. Pm is a fucker and a full clean down is the only way, with a 2 week stop gap , multiple sulphur treatments as well as the cleaning.
I am however spraying some plants and cuts a have as i dont want to loose them, using @GHO Barracade with added plant aminos as a spray and root drench and its doing the trick, infact they've never looked better.i would recommend and i will def be using it going forward in my regiment,as a preventative measure...

A cracking bit of buddage you've grown their man and it looks full of frosty goodness, sparkling like a good en.
