Thanks @anova.330, great info, seems he has BLR f2s, I've been after for years.
Hopefully I can get home to ship to the UK.
You've made a seed geek very happy .

Well it looks like we got six or seven or eight to pop. One is only coming up starting today. Three of the beans were floaters too. One has a torn cotyledon but it may turn around.
WTTGT says this stage is four weeks of leaving them in the cubes. Let’s see how patient I can be.

WTTGT is welcome to the grow tent which is a guy on YouTube that is really successful with his grow channel. He says to leave in rapid rooters for four weeks before transplanting to your first set of pots. So I’m going to try that.
Does that make more sense @Marcus ?

Yep supposedly they can last a month if you just keep them moist. We’re going to try and find out anyways, I will add a little amino N+ to the solution.Marcus wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 7:18 pmanova.330 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 7:14 pmWTTGT is welcome to the grow tent which is a guy on YouTube that is really successful with his grow channel. Re: Blacklight by Brandon Rust
A month in them cubes sounds way too long doesn’t it, im intrigued to see how well they do.
One thing that might help is making what i used to call ‘the germination station’ which is a wick system made from a root riot tray and a tuppaware container, cut a hole in the lid of the container thats big enough for the amount of cubes you need and sit the rr tray in the hole, tape the whole thing up with black tape to seal it for light and your good to go, just dont tape the lid on. i used to cut up old socks into strips that acted as wicks that hang into the reservoir, can keep cubes alive effortlessly like that and they only draw up enough to keep the cubes wet.
When the roots hit the res they will drink from there as well
