Re: Growers Choice Naranja Biscotti
Sorry bro, was sure I'd replied to this weeks ago, but evidently not. Yes, simply two buttons for up and down. From how it sounds I would guess it's a high torque electric motor turning a screw or cog - there is no pump or hydraulics. It's a great press for small amounts, very happy with it.Vador wrote: βThu Sep 08, 2022 11:23 pmI see, so its as simple as just pushing a button on yours then. that rosin bomb looks pretty good, how is it powered? Some sort of pneumatic pump or something?sybarite wrote: βThu Sep 08, 2022 6:42 pmIn a similar way I push the button a few times to keep the pressure even. Mine presses the puck, then stops, then I wait about 30 seconds and press the button once more until it stops. If I press the button once more after a minute or so the paper usually splits, so I know to stop after the second button push and it will be fine. I like the idea of a pressure gauge though.
The problem I had with RAW parchment was the brown colour that made it difficult to see the rosin, otherwise it seemed OK. I also tried Black Label ULTRA, which was expensive and very disappointing. The best I've used so far was the sheets that came with my Rosinbomb, but no idea where to get that. I reckon Reynolds is pretty good for a cheap one that I also use for baking.
This is my pre-press and it works well: https://www.rosintechproducts.com/produ ... -mold-mini

Thank you for your kind responses everyone, sorry for the late reply, notifications have been going mad with all the competitions going on and i must have missed it.
For anyone thinking about growing this strain id say give it a go, it smokes nice.
Maybe it was just me someone else might have different experiences but if i grew this one again id just grow two big plants instead of 5 smaller plants, they grew really well and everything but all 5 plants were growing at different rates and finished at different times, personally i dont have the space to deal with individual plants, all my drying has to be done in the flower room so i need strains that finish at the same time.
Apart from that id say these are some good genetics and worth a try.
Thanks for looking in

Re: Growers Choice Naranja Biscotti
Thanks @Keeno, and thanks to growers choice for giving me the opportunity.
Its been a really nice smoke so far and is getting better with age.
I could have done better growing it but things happen and stuff gets derailed but they still rewarded me nicely
Definitely a strain id like to do again in the future and put more effort into next time round.
Thanks
