Re: All aboard the auto express
hi paul imo that is light bleaching from led being too close/intense i had exactly the same when i first ran the quantum board, its a slow but irreversable damage it dont kill them but slows growth and yield suffers.Paul_led wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 9:46 pmSo the auto sweet trainwreck is gonna die this weekend , got back from the caravan and looks like I have some problems with ph or bite lock out or something maybe going yellow down to heat stress !? I don’t like having yellow plants ! It’s really pissed me off
Any suggestions what the full yellowing leaves are about ?
I guess I need to empty the res and put some fresh nutes in making sure ph is correct for starters
i now give bigger distance from the boards or use the dimmer, but new lights take learning i found and worth the effort next run,i hope!peace

Re: All aboard the auto express
Valuable bit of info there mate. I'm on my first LED grow. Lights about 40inches from canopy and at 50% on dimmer. Its the invis 530 board. So far so good..im lst my plants so they're short anyway but theres not much height..maybe leds dont stretch them as much as a HPS..not sure..or the light is quite intense so theres enough of it...so it aint growing too leggy. I dunno...im a bitduke wrote: ↑Sun Aug 21, 2022 10:12 pmhi paul imo that is light bleaching from led being too close/intense i had exactly the same when i first ran the quantum board, its a slow but irreversable damage it dont kill them but slows growth and yield suffers.Paul_led wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 9:46 pmSo the auto sweet trainwreck is gonna die this weekend , got back from the caravan and looks like I have some problems with ph or bite lock out or something maybe going yellow down to heat stress !? Re: All aboard the auto express
hi im no expert but do try to learn from my mistakes and hopefully not repeat them! ime led vegged plants stay compact and depending on temps as to amount they stretch, aim for 28c when running led as i find much below that they stretch a lot more.wutang wrote: ↑Sun Aug 21, 2022 10:49 pmValuable bit of info there mate. i think the lack of heat from the led leads you to get them too close esp in veg is when my mistake happened and it put the brakes on big time, however the plant did finish just took an age.
trick is to not treat led like an hps but being an old fart i forget!
good luck sir.

Re: All aboard the auto express
I’m still convinced it was lock out due to oh being sky high mate , maybe a little bleaching right at the tops and. A little crispy on the peek of the buds. But this grows been a roller coaster from the start , and I’m glad it will be chopped down this evening ,duke wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 11:52 amhi im no expert but do try to learn from my mistakes and hopefully not repeat them! ime led vegged plants stay compact and depending on temps as to amount they stretch, aim for 28c when running led as i find much below that they stretch a lot more.wutang wrote: ↑Sun Aug 21, 2022 10:49 pmValuable bit of info there mate. Re: All aboard the auto express
Not a lot to report really. I hate this stage with autos ! They seem to take so bloody long to get moving , I have given 1st but if feed today , I made up a 2l bottle of a and b and rhizotonic with 1ml of each in ph set to 6
Come on girls get a wriggle on !

And today I also got my magic beans delivered for the various grow offs , just got to figure out what’s what and get them going lol
I believe the auto og kush is for Christmas bauble grow !?
And I have smiley beans to go in too
Well I think that’s what’s going down lol

Re: All aboard the auto express
Wet paper towel mate, I've had 100% success. Peat pellets pissed me right off. Even with this bauble grow off..within 24hours I had it sprout and literally leave its shell.
Goodluck with this grow mate. Are you just doing everything under this one diary?
