Manage to save one clone of these beasts. It’s sitting in veg right now under a baggie.

As for these three testers, they all seem to be female so I’m just gonna let them be. Chances are I’ll have to scrog some more or use some stakes. I really need to put a bamboo pole across the canopy and pull down but I’m a bit shy of that right now.

that second image.. am I tripping ? i see a theme park roller coaster with all those branches going here there and everywhere. Am I alone in seeing this rollercoaster ?


edit - whats the clones like anova is it alive. gmo x gmo aahh no wonder they stretched so much, heard a few growers say she still spitting white hairs in week 9 & man she will be longtime too ehh 11+ weeks .. you certainly do like your challenges, fair play anova.

Not a roller coaster, just some sloppy stake work with bamboo poles. It’s absolutely ridiculous as I continue to super crop, they still reach the light. I’ll keep working on it, I should put Mr. pink back in there and see if he can get this more dope.

These have grown into the lights more than a few times, still pinching bending and super cropping when needed. These pics might give you some idea of the light footprint that is diminishing.





Then I looked at both top ends, left and right side. I think I’m going to finally get some super duty tie straps and recover about 6 inches of light height. Need to do that sometime this week.





Ugh! There’s a reason some of the stink is not exhausting correctly through the carbon filter… So I’ll need to get a new fan too.

So sometime this week, I also need to thin out some of these leaves and clean up the bottoms.





But there is some potential for decent popcorn at least… Right?

Well @Keeno, I managed to recover probably 4 inches of light height by using cable ties instead of the ratchets. I wish I would have done that a long time ago.

Also the fan didn’t work because of a faulty piece of wiring which I removed. Should help reduce the stink.

Day 28

Thought about pulling down the canopy so I could turn the lights up to 100%. Unfortunately, I have to do some traveling today so won’t have time.

Cleaned up the bottoms, took a couple branches, removed a couple leaves.

Day 31

Four weeks and a couple days into flower, some of the pistils are turning brown. Can help but remember @Captain Beefheart saying on a podcast, “if your pistils are turning brown at four weeks, you done fucked your dope”.

Not real sure what I did and I’m not sure if it’s happening on all the plants or just one… So far just one plant but we’ll see.

P.S. lights are now at 340 W. I was also able to lower the canopy using yo-yo‘s and pulling down. We will get you updated this weekend with pictures.

Day 32 (Yesterday)
My previous post was day 30 and I mistakenly marked it day 31.

Power is at 340 W. One light bleached Donk I think. I will have these up to 400 W shortly.

Lights are as high up as they will go.

@Rawreefer thinks I may have added the PK boost too Early. He is right which is probably leading to the brown pistils. In flower, I’ve been running the full line of Remo Bloom nutrients. First time I have done that or better yet this is the first time I have used salts in soil. Actually I did use some raw nutrients a long long time ago. Forgot about that.

I’ve lowered the canopy by using yo-yos attach to a string below the canopy. The video shows it a little better; nonetheless, I had to employ some LEG-endary Tactics.

Whether you see the yo-yos or not, this is a sneak peek to this weekends picture post. @Keeno you may remember such phrases as “ shit grow“, “ kill it now“. I’m going to make you eat those words, which you’ll probably enjoy, by the time you see this.

Lights are at 100% or 400 W. Hard work to tame this canopy.
