Pk week done. 1.5-6 ec feed now. 2 more weeks or so. Lots of milky trichs and the purple(er) one is super sweet. Bubblegum ice cream sauce sweet. The greener stockier plant is all gas.

They are chopped. Sorry guys, been mad busy but am off work for 9 days now so will also be around in the chat for once. Hopefully some of this mind flayer will be smokeable by next weekend although it's rained everyday since I chopped so its humid as my bedsheets, upstairs in the loft.


So after pk i fed at around 1.6 ec just a&b and then I gave them plain water the last week and also left the lights on for the last 30 hours of their life. I've heard that plants produce oils and trichomes in light, so more sense than 24/48 hour darkness before harvest it'd be better to add more light and cool down the tent. We'll i couldn't cool it down but I did leave the lights on.

So the one pheno is very very sweet blue bubblegum sauce terps. The other has a little more chemmy/gas smell and yields nice and chunky. These buds are so dense. Thinking about running the yielding pheno again straight away as I have some clones plus some new strains I've got to try (g.r.e.a.m. and bahama mama) I can chuck in along with it.
Trichomes have massive heads. Reckon this deserves a run just for hash.

I'll pop back with a smoke report. I tried it at 8 weeks and it was very euphoric is a bit racy. Hopefully that's gone now as I went 65 days with these.

Stunning buds in there Lordy. I can see the argument for light and not dark before harvest. In my head more light snd cool temps would be a good combo, as you say.

Well I heard a doctor or scientist on some podcast say exactly that: more light and cooler temps will make the oils and terps be at their best to harvest but if any if that actually translates into the final product I doubt its detectable by me who is going to roll it into a joint or even if someone was to rso it. Still it's loads of fun chatting about this stuff in our hobby of ours.

First grow using fulvic and humic acids (all seemed great especially new veg plants) and monosilicic acid, again no issues. Very sturdy plants. Took a poinding from my heavy hands.

Also first full grow using house and garden as a base nutrient and when they got purple stems I upped the feed and the purple stems went. So fair play, no deficiencies and I think any that have been are due to me under feeding under led lights. They are just so efficient
I'd rather heat the room than use hps again I reckon.

Hi...forum newbie here but not to growing...I was interested in your smoke report, want to pull the trigger on a pack...was hoping you say good things about this strain or rec another Solfire strain...
