Re: SM Bruce Banger
Cheers @Keeno yeah I really should've cleaned em up by now, see photos below quad is bursting at the seams, definitely need to get in there next 48 hrs but otherwise Im happy.
=============================================
Start of W3F/D21 & Im happy they filled the space nicely. Healthy happy and green, next 48hrs Ill get my lazy ass in there for a strip and lollipop else it's just gonna hurt yield/RH/mould further down the line.
Lighting management - (LM301B) 480w LED dimmed to 75% +5% weekly increase topping out at 85% then weekly -5% down to 75% till finish. I don't have much headspace 100% power will just hurt my yield, cause problems & its wasting power. *I may blast them 100% for the last 2-4 days for a nicer colour finish, time will tell.
Flood time increased to 5 minutes daily, feed is the same. Roughly once a week I pour straight RO though the pots until runoff to help stop dry back EC build up, I check the EC runoff just to make sure plants are consuming correctly as it can be a little tricky during the summer as plants uptake more water and less food in higher temps. Can honestly see myself moving to a dripper setup at some point in the future.
Think I've covered everything I've been upto, will post again when I've cleaned them up & its all nice neat & organised.

Re: SM Bruce Banger
Photos below are some shots in the dark taken before the uppskirt, pluck & double net set. So desperate for a cleanup there falling out me tent.

==========================
Photos below show the first layer of netting being pulled over the back 2 girls. This is one waay I go about setting my nets, made life harder for myself by not doing this a week ago but hay hoe off we go.

==========================
Photo below showing the second net added.

==========================
Photos below are after everything been done, there pretty much set now for the rest of flower I shouldn't need to do much canopy management. They look a little stressed after my man handling but 24hrs they will recover & 48 hrs I probably won't be able to see the net I just set.

==========================
Photos below show bud development day 22, she's a little slow to show but its normal... she won't begin to look sexy until week 5-6 bit of a ugly duckling if ya will. Taken just before lights out hence the droop.

==========================
Bin bag full of trashed leafs and branches, sadly 8 weeks from cut will produce waste, i'd be better off running 6 week veg but yeah cycles are cycles.

==========================
Phurrrrrr glad that's done, 1 net to catch the lowers and another for the uppers, they will get there PK next week but cool I'm all prepared for the last of the stretch and oncoming swell.
Not much else to say, growing is kinda boring when it's all running right... almost makes me wish for problems to make my diary more interesting lolz. All for now growmies, peace out happy growing.

Re: SM Bruce Banger
Cheers 2-Scoops, yup 'supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' with a cherry on top, cheers :)
12 days since dairie updated & the plants are in the start of week 5 day 35. They've been on canna PK 13/14 for a week now, lowered the base 0.4EC & added 0.4EC PK giving me the same total of 1.7EC still following the feed listed in a earlier post, PH 6.2. Other than topping up the res with fresh feed & leaf plucking I haven't really messed with them much. Light set at 80% which I'll slowly take to 85% over next couple days. I've started to add H2O2 to my res and feeds, temps are high & I don't want any nastys.
Still have slight pest pressure, I added diatomaceous earth & more sticky traps to makes sure the population don't get out of hand. I guess Im slowly becoming comfortable with being a trip farmer, keep threatening to add predators but honestly didn't feel they worked very well the last time I tried, mind you they did come half way across europe that's probably why.
I've not grown Bruce for a little while now, I do remember she did not bulk up or look pretty until the last 3 weeks & I'm trying to be chilled but she does look underdeveloped given her age, Im slightly concerned. They are drinking & feeding at good rates no real signs of problems anywhere so i'm only slightly concerned but will keep my eye on it over the next week. Hopefully worrying about nothing, like I say its been awhile.
=========================================
Stems have thickened & look strong
=========================================
Side & top view, I'd say the canopy is approx 50cm deep.
=========================================
Couple of nug shots, look to be filing in nicely.

Re: SM Bruce Banger
I haven't grown this since last year, I dont keep notes & smoke far too much, long winded way of saying I don't know mate, I try to run most stuff 8-9 weeks, I normally taper down the feed finishing water only end of week 6 but yeah I can't remember exactly... Ahh now I think about it mate.... dohh I wouldn't have kept anything that takes longer than 9.... so yeah Ill do what i said above but stretch it to water only end of week 7 & chop at 9 unless she fades out before, Id best scope the trichomes too i suppose since I cant remember shizz... dohh I mean it's not like I've grown this out 10 times before lmao. One of the reasons I've come out the closet and started diaries tbh. cheers dude
Edit - ohh & thank you very much Kbag for ya kind words of encouragement. much appreciated cheers

Re: SM Bruce Banger
OK so now I remember why bruce banger got put to the back of my veg area, last grow I noticed weird leafs and some colas grew with a twisted crown like look to the tops. Over time she has slowly got worse I thought it may have been feed/ph or environmental problem so I pushed the mother to the back with the later intention of researching & figuring out the problem & there she sat for a year until I heard Kbag talking bruce banger on the hangout, of course me being me + I dont keep notes... Id forgotten the issue.

Just finishing week 6, day 48 & there kinda looking like shit tbh, fluffy buds, some burned leafs from too heavy PK, air and water temps have been high & that pigmentation/viroid/virus seems to be spreading, I really hope this is not HLV, I've been worried about this bruce grow for a couple weeks now I honestly will be glad when its done, she is still frosting up & although Im moaning there's some weight in that net.

- Pigment variegation :
The simplest and perhaps most common form is pigment variegation. This occurs where the non-green parts of the leaf lack chlorophyll (responsible for the absorption of light to provide energy for photosynthesis). Sometimes these parts of the leaf have no pigment at all (such as Monstera deliciosa 'Albo Variegata'), but more often, they look pale green or yellow-coloured.
The basis for this abnormality is actually a mutation! As variegation seems to occur naturally, too, or by viruses, it has been a subject of genetic studies since the early 20th Century. Leaf-variegated mutants are not usually lethal. As the mutation causes chloroplast development to become unstable, patterns of variegation can be quite different between individual leaves.Thanks @anova.330 & @staggering prod for helping to figure this out.
