Just looking at the new t-8 uvb lamp, it looks fair priced too. Summink I've tampered with in past but no so much now, id love to be able to wangle my space around to fit one of these though, maybe need to add a new joist pole to hold one up and tis maybe summink to look into for next grow. But yes i like it lots. Plants are coming along nicely too m8.

They look good and I'm liking the recent published results from Dutch Passion so I had to give it a whirl. I think you need it at least 2ft from the canopy so it will be tight in my tent too but I think I can squeeze it in somewhere.2-Scoops wrote: ↑Tue Jun 07, 2022 12:39 pmJust looking at the new t-8 uvb lamp, it looks fair priced too. Re: LA S.A.G.E X birthday cake X strawbanana cream NFT SOG run
I used to run it for 2 hours daily for last 3 weeks before chopping, tbh fuck knows if it worked or not cus i still got wrecked with or without, but for sure yes test results or stats coming back now saying it does what it says on packet. As said space is tight but i really need to look at my hangers and fit a new hanging pole if im gonna invest tis only a 10 minute jobby tbh, so it might be a go`er sometime this year.seymore_budz wrote: ↑Tue Jun 07, 2022 1:01 pmThey look good and I'm liking the recent published results from Dutch Passion so I had to give it a whirl. Looking good Seymore. I'm interested to see how you get on with the added UVB. I've had my eye on the following product for sometime: https://www.ceravision.com/UV420plasmagrowlight.php

It should be arriving today. Perfect timing as they're now been flowering for just over 30 days. Bring on the sun tan :)

My buddy uses something similar it's a test beta from ceravision. I'd Love to be convinced these aint a rip off... 420 watts & a price tag of £999.00 seems like huge overkill/waste when comparing to the T8 UVB, it's a similar story for led uva/b. Don't get my wrong adding uv definitely enhances the terps I just think there are better ways using less watts and less money. I'd love to be convinced otherwise. Personally after seeing Migros test reports T8s for the win.Keeno wrote: ↑Fri Jun 10, 2022 8:46 amI've had my eye on the following product for sometime: https://www.ceravision.com/UV420plasmagrowlight.php

Its a load of tripe LED uv lighting and a bit snakey and imo uva does feck all. Tbh i dont think tech is their to get uvb for added potency, basically you can only get uva spec on led atmo. If your gonna use uv light its gotta be cfl , t-5 or t-8 uvb

Re: LA S.A.G.E X birthday cake X strawbanana cream NFT SOG run
Hey GR420,
Sigh, more bad news with this grow. I think I got bit by the hot weather because I got root rot yet again within the late stages of flower. The PH started to plummet from 6PH right down to in the 4s over night and things just didn't progress from there. Sad times.
I've been flushing them with some ripen for the last 6 days and I'll yank em either this weekend or mid next week and keep you all updated on the weight.
I will go back to N.F.T but I think I'm going to tweak a few things next time. Probably make the incline a little steeper so the water flows faster and I'll probably cycle the pumps rather than have it on all the time. It's a very aggressive system but it's like going 180mph down a motorway. You might get to B in record time buy one wobble and you're toast
. Weird thing is the plants don't look unhealthy at all. I've calculated exactly what I'm adding to the resoviour and compared that to other manufacturers and although I'm a little short on P/K and there's no chlorine at all, everything else is spot on. Anyway, onwards and upwards :) The mother is doing very well so the pheno lives on .... for now.

Re: LA S.A.G.E X birthday cake X strawbanana cream NFT SOG run
Hey ya'll,
Here's what a root mat shouldn't look like *welp*. That being said, I'm convinced the bacteria saved my arse once again because even though the whole root mat was rotted to shit, it looks like I have about 15+oz of bud.
Also, Holy shit the UVB makes a difference. This bud is by far stickier and caked in sugar than previous runs! And it stinks more too. Looking forward to putting it through its paces once again later on this year.
I'll update you all with a final weight once its all bagged up.

Some side nugs that snapped off while trimming.

Mother still happy.

Re: LA S.A.G.E X birthday cake X strawbanana cream NFT SOG run
Ohh dude sincerely sorry for your loss, although 15 (if a little immature) aint a complete loss, how long did they have left?.
This grow style you say 180 MPH on a motorway.. I say *dragster* . . . one mistake and your on the wall, totaled vehicle and barely alive but at the same time there's no faster way to get there nft/dwc/misters etc your absolutely right. Takes a brave grower to drive those systems especially without a chiller !! much respect and admiration dude for trying, fair play to ya.
I think UV for sure makes a difference, however your gonna have to rerun the test as the root stress could be responsible for the extra stickiness and terps, in fact I'd argue both factors influenced your buds profile. Interesting nonetheless.
Don't you think you'll have problems every time the summer comes ? if you don't either cool the room with AC or add a chiller to res. I noticed you write your thinking to combat this next round by raising the table & less pump time, I'm not being cheeky but I don't understand why/how will this prevent pathogens colonizing again, will running the pump less to drop temp do the trick & what about drybacks ? I'm curious because I don't chill my res(s) & as the temps increase I do worry, once they hit 24c I start adding H2o2 every 3 days, I was ok last year but still I worry so any advice for managing res appreciated.
BTW Im a secret fan, scanned your pics in the past & read quite a lot of your comments here and there, you'd be welcome to my BBQ & you wouldn't need bring your own, unless of course to show off... which would of course be welcomed. Good Knowledgeable comments & a top banana. Credit to GR420... right enuff bromance... laters
