Who`s told you that mate ? I mean it could be true or not feck knows tbh, but Sensi seeds have a big seed bank where all of their gems for breeding etc have been kept for time or so i always thought and led to believe from reading shit in past, it just makes me wonder why it wouldn`t be the original they sell. I saw another post not long ago saying summink similar about these guys but forgot the strain they said wasn`t the original anymore. Kinda made chuckle a wee bit cus for life of me i can`t see why they wouldn`t be from original stock they repro over and over for resale. Its beyond me Tictok. Plants are looking good though mukka

Unfortunately its sad but true...the Sensi/Seedbank gear you get today is not the same genetics that were being sold in the 90s. But the Dutch businessmen of Sensi of course don't say or admit this. Their story is that its the same genetics as always...when its clearly not. Just look at the skunk genetics for instance...there's no skunk there anymore, just floral citrus. Its not the same skunk that was being sold by Neville. Any all breeders I have ever heard interviewd back this up....thats why they arent using any modern sensi seed stock in their breeding projects. Like AK bean brains they are sourcing seed stock and clones backs from the 80s and 90s.

Tiktock is right, they have changed breeders over the years and the males and females selected by Neville in the 80s and 90s were lost.

I know this first hand because I have grown out the Sensi black domina they are selling now...and its absolute bunky rubbish. One of the worst seed disappointments I have come across.

I wish this wasn't true really...I wish it was the same original genetics. But I dont want people getting ripped off and disappointed like I was.

Yes i see they`re still saying that they use their original genetics going back 30 years when I've been digging around, i also saw and read up posts from a good few growers ripping into them nowadays and saying similar to both of you guys. Thanks for replies appreciated peeps. :thx:

Hey @Tictok dude,bit late tagging along but in time still yay!,looking good my friend..yes been intrigued by AK since i heard him being interviewed on the the pot cast,very knowledgeable guy sounds like and defo some great sounding lines,been tempted to buy some beans but got so many to hunt thru already lol,where you buy them out of interest? seeds here now? when i was a kid like 15/16 our soap bar dealer turned up one day with these 2 half oz bags of this luminous green shit and was like this boys is skunk weed and we were blown away man,all we had seen at that point was soap and jamaican bush that stank of rum,he said one is called northern lights and other black domina,the BD was the darker colored of the two as i remember and was defo the better one.They were both amazing tho we would roll one joint and pass it round the 4 of us,that shit would burn like insense and get us all giggling in to a stupor for hours,everyone prob remembers their first encounter with proper dank thru rose tinted glasses and this was in like 95 but man that was some special weed wow!

As for the whole sensi convo...Ben and allan Dronkers are 2 of the most lying pieces of shit in the game,con men...they were just cash cows that bought neville out of jail and took over his company,he was working like a slave for them basically when he came out,it didnt last long and went to work for greenhouse,as cave hill said the lines havent been the same for years and years,they lost pretty much all of the breeding stock in a bust in around 97 think it was and before that they had fucked with all the names which really pisses me off for tracing stuff back,for example NL2 became Hindu kush,garlic bud became shiva skunk i think and countless others,ive probably even got that wrong because it becomes so damn confusing,twats..youre right about neville changing the parents of the black domina,pretty sure the afghan T was switched out for a Garlic bud male,after the Afghan T was lost by neville...which explains the difference in to lines Ak was working with.... thats another reason why a lot of things started going down hill probably as that male (Afgan T)was the dad to a lot of the lines they offered..like the super skunk for instance

I hope I do them justice, battling some real heat issues currently in the loft grow but they are getting there.

I got the seeds from AKBean Brains directly, sent and email, sorted it from there. The guy is a true gentleman and these seeds were the freebies when I bought the SohumBD as a line itself.

You are right about Sensi changing the names, just heard it mentioned today that Garlic Bud was changed to shiva shanti or something, it's a real shame that so many seed companies are just in it for the money. They don't know the genetic damage they are doing.

Thanks for the other info on sensi, makes a lot of sense now. I'm sure there will be keeprs in this lot, then I'll hunt a male to preserve the line (which makes me sound like I know what I'm talking about!).

Isn't that the truth, after years of soap where I found the quality slowly degredated as things got mixed in it where I was, the skunk and NL hit and it was like a new dawn!
