Its your choice, dont let my comments control your decision. Since I see the lower bud site drying off I imagine it would be welcoming to botrytis rot and that is the causal agent for bud rot. My thought is best to nip it in the bud ;)

Garden Update March 25th
Gave the Ladies an overhaul with @airbottombags and Nectar of the Gods living soil! They were originally in cheap 5 gallon fabric pots that caused root bound and breathing issues.
I lost the FroYo due to this and a little branch of the Blue Dream Sherbert …. The purple punch has picked up and they’re all praying to the sun! Finishing out this run before I start any other seedlings. The Purple Haze was a gift seed… it’s growing in a 2 gallon #airbottombags and I’m excited to see its growth! 2 weeks until my next harvest!
Blue Dream Sherbert- 82 Days from Seed
Week 7 flower (Day 47 flower)
Purple Punch - 64 Days from Seed
Week 3 Flower (Day 22 flower)
Purple Punch - 64 Days from Seed
Week 3 Flower (Day 22 flower)
Purple Haze Auto (Expert Seeds) - 9 days from Seed
Week 1 Seedling
Thanks for following along! I will always ask questions! I love all the resources and advice ive learned along the way! Not to mention - the garden won’t grow without the beans! I love this forum and have really found a great place here

Re: Daze’s Indoor Grow 2022
End of March Update 3/29 — Part One
We have chopped down the blue Dream Sherbert tonite….. the trichrome check held up under the loupe and the fan leaves were starting to amber even!
Does high temps have to do with maturation?
There were a few weeks during late flower she was in the high 80’s while I got the temps dialed back in waiting on the filter and fan….

She came out bushy and dense

And looks great as wet trim

These buds are going into the wedryerxl to dry for 3-5 days before hitting the Grove Bags to cure…

They are so fluffy

A 2nd plant harvested
The Purple Punch and Purple Haze are left and see the next post cause I have Plant issues and questions!!

Re: Daze’s Indoor Grow 2022
The Purple Punch have been an interesting pair

The first pheno seems to be rocking it
Almost 2-3 week faster than her sister

Biggest Colas I’ve ever seen…

My only concern with this plant are the yellowing leaves?
Is this alright? Given it is maturing faster? The trichromes are still mostly clear and just starting to get cloudy… I know she has a few more weeks to go.

However pheno two is a bit sickly
Not taking well to anything and the stems are vastly turning purple from the tops down

It also is stunted and maybe looking like it’s week 3/4 instead of farther along

The stem is turning purple from the base as well

Should I flush em with just water? I last watered on Sunday… and planned to water tomorrow evening …
It’s a Plant SOS… how to help pheno 2?

hi daze your just seeing nature at work, particularly with autos you will often see big difference in phenotypes even from the same pack of seeds. The Daze wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 3:56 amThe Purple Punch have been an interesting pair

this is due to so many mixed genetics as most autos have sativa, indica and ruderalis all in the same seed and they all express varied mixes of these, this is why for reliable repeatable grows i stick mostly to photoperiods and just fill any empty space in the veg cab with autos.
you cant beat clones from your own known and tried and tested motherplant.
i would not advise you on the ailing one as i only grow in coco and no good at mud.
enjoy your harvest anyhow as any harvest is a good harvest,,,,

Re: Daze’s Indoor Grow 2022
Thank you both for your comments!
I’m m just finishing these up for now
My next run will be the tester seeds for TAO and Conscious Genetics as well as finishing this purple haze out
So I’ll get more familiar with photoperiod, proper schedules, and sexing plants!

Lovely stuff. Good work, sir.
