No I know but you’ve got to try it first hand before dismissing things so thought I’d give it a bash.
If anything I thought maybe might get a bit smellier but it didn’t seem to make a difference.
My thought train was that some of the more volatile terpenes that boil away at room temperature would be gone after the 30c heatwave they have experienced so maybe just maybe a couple of days of cold and darkness would help bring them back. Nah didn’t happen.

Thank you mrs B, I don’t think I’ve broken any records as far as weight is concerned but so long as it keeps me going till next harvest I’m happy.
These are some of the most trichome packed buds I’ve ever grown so should get a nice bit of oil too.

Week 17 - Mother
Same old same old, except she is temporarily being scrogged in with the clones for a couple of weeks while my bud dries. After that she will go back in the veg tent.
She’s looking a bit pale but tbh I think I need to give her a good flush and start again, she’s been sat in a tray for weeks now so could do with a freshen up. One day this week when I’ve got some spare time I shall dig her out and give her a good flush in the shower. Apart from that she’s happy enough for now.

Week 10 - Harvest

Total Veg Time = 7 Weeks
Total Flower Time = 9 Weeks

Plants got the chop on Friday and hung in the tent, I then decided to empty out the veg tent and get them hung in there so I can carry on in the main room.
Image

Week 10 - Clones
A+B = 1 ml/L
Silicon = 0.5 ml/L
Rootstim = 0.8 ml/L
Fulvic = 0.8 ml/L

E.C = 0.9
P.H = 5.9
Bulb = 250w mh

The clones have settled into there new home, you can’t really see that well in the pictures but they are hungry, they’ve been on 0.7ml/L a+b for a few weeks now, this new barrel is up to 1ml/L now so hopefully they pick up a bit over the next week.

That's about all for now, things are a bit of a mess for the meantime while I dry this bud ready for curing so just got to go with it for a couple of weeks.

Thanks mn, yeah should keep me going. I’ve been chipping away at it today taking leads off for ten minutes here or there, very sticky stuff.

Just been back in the tent and I’m starting to wonder now whether to flower the mum first then the clones, mums already well established with a decent stem, the clones have catching up to do, will have to see what happens when the veg tent is empty

Week 18 - Mother
Mums back in the veg tent now keeping the new seedlings company, at the start of the week she got flushed out in the shower with warm water, then got 6L of ph’d water put through her to balance the ph, then gave her a feed from the clones barrel, a+b, fulvic and rootstim. She’s starting to look a bit happier now, back on to the slow release nutes for her now, gave her a few extra feed balls in each tray today. She’s got her own drain tray to sit on as well so hopefully she will be happier from now on.
The week under mh has given her a little growth spurt too.

Week 11 - Drying/ Curing

Total Veg Time = 7 Weeks
Total Flower Time = 9 Weeks

Well drying happened quicker than anticipated, it’s got really hot here over the last few days and reached 30c+ on some days, needless to say the bud is dry down to about 60-62% rh depending on what plant, got them all weighed and bagged into grove bags for the cure. Any popcorn or anything smaller than a joints worth went into the trim pile.

Here’s the results
Image

And almost as much in trim
Image

Total of 356g bud and 338g trim, That’s not a very good result really, I’m sure it’s this parabolic shade I’m using, I can get it real close to the tops of the plants without doing any damage but it just doesn’t penetrate deep enough into the canopy due to it being reflected light.
I’m sure I’d get a better result using a normal shade and moving it around each day, which is exactly what I’m going to do with the clones. I’ll veg/scrog them under the parabolic and probably take them into two to three weeks of flower with 400w hps, when I switch to 600w hps I’ll also swap the shades out at the same time and see if it performs any better.
The tops of the buds are nice and dense for 5-6 inches then it just goes to popcorn, loads of popcorn, I’ve never seen so much popcorn.
It’s not a total loss as there is loads of crystals in there, it was like a pile of dust at the bottom of the groom when I cleared all the plant material, all that went into the bag which will be used for bho and rso which was always the plan anyway, I’d have liked to have had more bud to use for extracts but you can’t win them all I guess.

Week 11 - Clones
A+B = 1.2 ml/L
Calmag = 0.8 ml/L
Silicon = 0.5 ml/L
Rootstim = 0.8 ml/L
Fulvic = 0.8 ml/L

E.C = 1.2
P.H = 5.8
Bulb = 250w mh

Clones have got the flowering room to themselves now so we can concentrate on scrogging them.
Image

I’ve rigged up a watering system, credit to @Keeno for that one
Image

It works pretty good but I’m not happy with the water spread, it just gushes out in one area and doesn’t saturate the top of the coco as I’d like it to, working on a couple of ideas to try and get around this.
One thing I’m thinking is a cut down bucket with holes drilled in the bottom and a two inch hole cut out the centre for the plant to stick through, that would then be placed on the coco and the hose goes into the bucket, should help distribute the water nicely, only trouble is it’s too late to fit one to the clones now so need to come up with an alternative solution.
Possibly a 13mm Y piece with a watering can rose on each end.
Need to try some things out first.
This system is good because I can connect the hose pipe to it for flushing too, just need to rig up some sort of spreader for the water then it will be perfect.
