So I was watching some YouTube while working and came across a video about root colonising bacteria and how they protect against root rot. One in particular that came up a few times was bacillus amyloliquefaciens. Bacillus amyloliquefaciens can be found in a few products like Hydroguard and people swear by those products.
I've been down the whole friendly bacteria route before when running an aeroponics system and I did have fairly decent results, I also lost a plant down to root rot. But the products I was using didn't contain bacillus amyloliquefaciens.

ATM I'm running silver peroxide and Hygrozyme but I really don't like using peroxide as I feel like killing everything is also not ideal. Not only that, I'd like to run an enzyme that doesn't cost £40 per ltr and requires you to add 2.5ml per litre. I get through about 100ltr of water every two weeks in top-ups as well as an additional 100ltr when cycling the tank. I need a second job to pay for all that hygrozyme

So, my question is does anyone have any experience with any products that contain bacillus amyloliquefaciens like Hydroguard? If so, what we're your experiences?
