Thanks mate. Any other auto breeders you've tried that are good? I heard good things about Mephisto, but seem hard to get here.

Thanks @MrNice.

One thing I will say about FastBuds is their germ rates are high. I only ever bought single seed packs and they all popped quickly.

Maybe bach, maybe! She's so close to the LEDs, so the upper paleness might be LED fade. I amended with hemp seed meal and alfalfa meal a few days ago, and sprayed some aminos in an attempt to boost N availability, so maybe should have done that sooner. Still learning with this living soil and strain, and maybe haven't quite sussed the timing yet.

Another issue I have @Captain Beefheart, is my place is humid as f, with two dehumidifiers running 24/7 humidity rarely gets below 75 in winter, so VPD is almost impossible to control - could be related :idn:

Fattening up nicely! I'm going off the idea that you can burn your plants by being too close. A close pal had been experimenting with that theory and he's getting the best results when running the light 30-40cm from the canopy.

I think @Captain Beefheart is right and they're a little hungry. I think most people see an improvement when they back off with the LED is because the plants don't work as hard and they can survive with less.

Of course you could burn them if the LEDs are hot and they're heating up the canopy but you're not going to burn plants with too much light.

I also think you took too many leaves off but that opinion could be taken as subjective

Exit: "ate hot sand"?! Fuck you autocorrect lol

If you was adding co2 to the groom am I right in thinking you could run the lights brighter without causing the same damage you’d see without co2?

So adding CO2 would increase the ability for the plants to consume food and produce more and you can run your more light but having more light won't burn your plants.

Imagine a bucket under a tap with the tap running. Once that bucket is full, the excess water will run out of the side and down the drain. Same thing with lights. If you have too much then it will just not be used and go to waste. Its inefficient but not detrimental. This is the same for co2 to a degree.

The damage comes from the plant not having enough energy in reserve due to not having the nutrient to produce food. The damage from overfeeding isn't from overconsumption but from other factors like upsetting thr osmotic pressure of the root and locking things out. Essentially your plants actually starve :) Hope this helps.
