Re: Tour of the Death Star & attack of the clones
Today I finally got round to fitting the 10” extraction fan in the loft, omg should have done it ages ago, what a difference.
For ages I’ve had this issue where it’s 50% rh in the room but 65% rh in the tent even with the dehumidifier running flat out, built the manifold and that helped, added a fan on the inlet just above the manifold and that helped. upgraded the exhaust fan today and straight away down to 50% rh in the tent with just the extraction plugged in so have been able to remove the extra fan and ducting, now it’s pulling the sides of the tent in even with the vent on the side of the tent fully open, it would never do that before.
It’s so much quieter too, rather than a 5” fan running flat out the 10” is only ever going to run at 70-80% power, at 50% I can hardly hear it.
What a little beast it is now, temps went up to 33c last night with the 600w bulb in there so will be interesting to see what happens tonight

Drugs and Alcohol are never the answer! Unless the question was “what am I doing tonight”.

Re: Tour of the Death Star & attack of the clones
Knocked this up @duke just for the mother, should help keep my balls where I want them

10g in each tray, now all I’ve got to do is pour ph’d water into the trays and should hopefully be good enough.
I’ll move the trays around a bit every couple of days as well, should help them get evenly saturated

Re: Tour of the Death Star & attack of the clones
Temperature went to 32+ with the lights on over night, humidity was under 40, lowest I seen was 35% even with this powerful extraction fan, plants don’t seem to be minding it though, in fact they are looking like some of the healthiest plants I’ve grown to date, one thing that worries me though is that they are going to start drying out between feeds, I’m putting 1.5L ish a day in each pot, soon I think they will be needing more, just hoping they don’t start drinking much more each day or the pots will be drying out too quick.
Might have to get a humidifier for the flowering room and also think about automating the feed, I like hand watering though as it gets me in the tent every day and stops me being lazy. Needs must I guess, I’ll just play it by ear for now and see how things go.
Not sure I like the idea of adding moisture to the groom this far into flower either, it was so much easier when I didn’t worry about temps and humidity lol

They are slow release nutrient balls, just saves a bit of messing around knocking up nutes for mum, just add ph’d water now and she should be fine.

Re: Tour of the Death Star & attack of the clones
Should have said as well I put them in the trays to keep them from dropping down the sides of the pots and stop them getting buried in the top layer of coco, when I come to flower her should just be able to pull the trays out and hopefully there won’t be any balls left behind, that’s the plan anyway lol

Re: Tour of the Death Star & attack of the clones
Just had a right nightmare, went up to do my bit of midnight gardening and the pump in the rhizo brain was just sucking, there was water in the bucket still but it couldn’t pump it out for some reason, pulled the pump out and submerged it in some clean water and let it pump through now it seems fine again. Must have had some crap stuck in there.
Then I hear the humidifier click on followed by the sound of a motor revving up and down, checked it all out and the humidifier has had it, I wouldn’t feel safe leaving it plugged in any more, it’s vibrating even with the knob switched to the off position.
32% rh in the flowering room at the moment, only just put that in there yesterday and it’s packed up already, mind you it is a few years old now.
Gonna need to source a new one pronto, trip to the grow shop tomorrow after work if there’s time.
On a plus note the girls are starting to kick out a right stink

Re: Tour of the Death Star & attack of the clones
Week 12 - Mother
Mother is doing well, had to give her some extra feed balls to keep her happy.Week 5 - Flowers Increasing in Size
A+B = 2.3 ml/L Silicon = 0.5 ml/L
Buddy = 1 ml/L
Boost = 1 ml/L
Fulvic = 1 ml/L
E.C = 1.6
P.H = 5.9
Bulb = 600w hps
Total Veg Time = 7 Weeks
Having trouble getting good photos now without leaking light from the groom, Gonna have to start using a different light.
Everything is going well in the flower room though
Will be getting in there very soon for the last round of defoliation, maybe tomorrow if I can be arsed.
Week 5 - Clones
Clones are recovering now, Got 4 of them potted up into coco, one lives on this shelf with mum.The others down here on there own.
I overdone it with the a+b ever so slightly and got some leaf burn but they are all making a comeback from that now
These are the remaining clones, They've been kept in the cloner for now as backup. Had a couple of fan leafs go bad so just trimmed them off.
That's about all really, the smell in the flower room is lovely now, proper cheese smell, so much nicer smell than the last cheese autos I did. Bud growth is speeding up now too, will be putting in the pk boost very soon.

Thank you, yeah she’s coming along now.Wardrobe Farming wrote: ↑Sun Feb 13, 2022 10:03 pmFlower room looks amazing @Vador![]()

Everything is a nice green colour but still seeing some red in the stems so I know I’m not overdoing it with the feed.
Looking at the invisible sun uva panel, thinking I might get one in there before the end of this grow if I can
