Re: Northern Lights 5 Bx by AK Bean Brains
High Anova do not take this as criticism, but the plant looks a little dark maybe back off the N or base nutes a little and add some pk to keep the same EC. just food for thought mate.
I will take this comment back as i have just seen your nutrient N.P.K values it could be the high N & P value making them look dark. As im guessing you have used the bloom since flipping?

I will post the NPK values here later for the others, but I agree with you 100%. The N is too high. These plants have been in flower since I transplanted them from cloner.kbag wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 4:04 amHigh Anova do not take this as criticism, but the plant looks a little dark maybe back off the N or base nutes a little and add some pk to keep the same EC. just food for thought mate.

Yes, the NPK value or EC rises over time. I’m only using half strength ratios… But yeah I’m with you

Day 42
Been able to alternate buckets of feed and straight RO water so as to not over-do it. I dunno it makes sense to me. The FloraNova Bloom is 4-8-7, prolly too much N, like @kbag mentions. At the time, I wanted a cheap one-part and this seemed to fit.
Earlier, I noticed either Remo or Cyco had a 0 Nitrogen bloom program. Need to research that I might not remember correctly. Taking suggestions, but no Canna – only localish source is Amazon. Local hydro shop has plenty of other choices at decent pricing.
Temps at 23.7C. Never thought this would work.

Drill-pump video.
Attachment fits onto a cordless drill. Then, I bought a cheap set of washing machine hoses for both directions (i.e. in and out). I use the pump to refresh nutrients or get water from my RO reservoir. The video cost me about $250 US – water splashed onto the phone. So I submitted an insurance claim for replacement.

I was also looking at those drill pumps but was put off a bit but after seeing yours in action I can see it’s actually a worthwhile bit of kit for hydroponics, I could think of a few handy ways to use that around the groom.

Re: Northern Lights 5 Bx by AK Bean Brains
Day 49
I will flower these for 70 days. Not real sure what I was thinking, but clones I took already have roots. So they need to stay in the TurboKloner for another 21 days. Really want to run TK X TKNL5 X Lime1bx, but the Time Bandit (WiFi 43 X G13HP) is screaming for flower.
I plan on flushing during the last two weeks. Right now, continuing to top off with either RO or feed, about a gallon per day. There’s light bleach damage on some of the tops @kbag . Doesn’t surprise me as the lights have been 100% (400W) since day zero of this run.

NL#5 X haze man that has to be one of most famous strains ever, add a bit of skunk nu1 to that mix and you`ve cracked it, a marriage made in heaven also known as Jack Herer. Tbh i recon 90% if not all of lets call them newer more modern genetics contain some of that mix in one way or another which says it all really
